Only four runners in this class 6 claiming race. It is likely pace setter could be Kuanyao. This gelding comes out second on my figures but hasn't run over this course and distance. Lee Carter's charge recorded a good time at Kempton when tracking the leaders, which puts it in third place on my ratings. It wouldn't take much improvement from this four-year-old to have a good chance of winning. Polar Kite hasn't run over course and distance but may find this trip too short to show its best. I doubt it can win this race. Song Of Parkes can either track Kuanyao or even be held up and has got the best chance on my figures. However, I think this may turn into a tactical race. I'll be leaving this race alone.
3:35 Lingfield - a nine runner race with no natural front runner - so exactly how it will pan out I'm not sure. Breccbennach has led or tried to lead on a couple of occasions so might try again but I'm not convinced because it ideally needs a longer trip. If it does I doubt it will set a quick enough pace to burn off the finishers. Clockmaker has only once tried to lead but this might be too short a trip for it to shine. Diamond Charlie is another who tried to lead before but is berthed in the outside stall which won't help its chances but it does come out second top on my figures. Bainne has also tried to lead and failed. It has a few negatives against it in this race. The top rated is PALACE MOON, who can either track the leaders or be held up and is nicely drawn in stall one. Should get into a good position early on and prove the stronger at the finish. I think it's worth betting at the 5/1.
7:35 Wolverhampton -Seven runners and the only known front runner is WE'LL DEAL AGAIN, which is also my top rated. I'm hoping for an all the way win from stall two. If fully wound up has a few pounds in hand.
SUMMARY: 3.35 Lingfield - I will be having a bet on PALACE MOON at 5/1. 7:35 Wolverhampton - I think the selection - WE'LL DEAL AGAIN - can lead from start to finish and is a decent price at 11/2. (E.R.I.C.)
