2:20 Kempton Race Tip (17th March) TURFTV HANDICAP

Two horses in this seven runner race are known to lead and they come out first and second on my ratings. I'll be surprised if any of the hold up types can get in a blow. The top rated, Seamster, is well berthed in stall one. This fast-starting horse is most likely try to lead all the way. Island Legend has been known to lead and comes out second on my figures. He
might not be able to beat the selection in the race for the lead. My third top rating is Welease Bwian who will take advantage if either of the front two falter.

4:20 Kempton - A decent Class 3 handicap with ten runners. Only one is known to lead and that's Trojan Rocket. I doubt on this occasion it can win from the front even if it does get and uncontested lead as it only comes out fourth on my figures. Clear Praise is weighted to reverse form with the leader on recent running and this one comes out third best. The top weight, Barnet Fair, comes out second best but hasn't run for 170 days and may need the run. His trainer, Lee Carter, has been getting a few winners lately so it just might be fit enough to do itself justice but it still only comes out second top. The top rated horse is Yeeoow, who had a run twenty-three days ago after being off since October 25th. That should put him spot on fitness-wise to track the leader and finish the stronger. As you can see, the top two rated may lack fitness so I wouldn't advise you to bet too strong.

5:20 Kempton - A Class 6 race with twelve runners. Once again race has only one known front runner and that is Prince Of Passion. Ideally berthed in stall two but I doubt very much it can stay in front or even to make the frame. Third top rated is Gung Ho Jack who will either be held up or track the leader. He will need a bit of luck to get a good position from stall eleven. Second top rated is Foie Gras from stall seven. This one usually employs the same tactics as Gung Ho Jack. My top rated is New Rich who is ideally drawn for a horse that likes to sit off the pace and finish fast. As long as it doesn't get outpaced or lose its position and gets shuffled to the back it should prove the strongest.

SUMMARY: 2.20 Kempton - I will be backing Seamster at 3/1 joint favourite. Take the price because I really thought it would be a shorter priced favourite. 4.20 Kempton - Yeeoow has been made 10/3 favourite so it looks like they think its fit enough to do itself justice. Worth a bet. 5.20 Kempton - New Rich is a 4/1 favourite. I'm not surprised, as it does have the best times and is running consistently well. Don't forget to take the prices and only bet with bookmakers that offer Best Odds Guaranteed because then it doesn't matter what the betting does. (E.R.I.C.)
