3:05 Beverley Racing Tip (16th April) WORLD´S FIRST EASTER EGG TREE HANDICAP (CLASS 3) (4yo+ 0-95)

Blaine can lead or track the leaders but I think it is better on softer going. Aetna is either held up or tracks the pace setters but is another who may prefer a slower surface but is fit as it won last time out at Newcastle on soft going. Singeur is a hold-up type but its times have been slow at the distance and finished eighth last time out well behind Aetna. Chooseday is another hold-up type and another that times have been slow. Normal Equilibrium can either track the leaders or be held up but its final times have been slow. BONDESIRE is my top rated and likes to lead and looks the only natural front runner. It has finished third on its first race of
the season for the last two years. Its top rated so could lead all the way but it is priced at 14/1 and at that price I have to go each way on the bet as insurance. Tumblewind can either track the pace or be held up but its times are slow. Bedloes Island is another hold up or track leader type and also has only produced slow overall times. Hadaj may try to lead or track the leaders but whether it can do that over five furlongs is debatable as its best form is over six furlongs. Arctic Feeling usually tracks the leaders and comes out second on my workings and I'm surprised it's as big as 20/1 in places.  Lastchancelucas another to sit off the early pace but its times are slow. Top Boy won last time out - twelve days ago - so its fitness is assured but its times on grass are slow and may prefer either the all weather or softer going.

SUMMARY: I'm hoping that BONDESIRE can lead all the way - being the only natural front runner and if getting an easy lead will be hard to catch as long as its fit enough after having 179 days off. Obviously all my comments and analysis is based on the going being at least good-good to firm in places. The going at the moment is given as good and with a dry night forecast and no rain tomorrow the ground will be drying out nicely.

Bondesire 14/1 1st
