3:05 Southwell Racing Tip (2nd April) BOOKMAKERS.CO.UK HANDICAP (CLASS 5) (4yo+ 0-75)

Foxy Music will either track the leaders or even try to lead but may need the run after 154 days off. He has only produced poor form on the all-weather and looks poor value at only 5/1. RAMBO WILL is once again my top rated horse. I tipped it up last time it ran and won over course and distance. Sir Geoffrey can employ virtually any tactics but on recent form is held by the selection but does come out second on my ratings. Lost In Paris has poor recent form and poor form overall on the all-weather with its track leaders style. Boxing Shadows may need the run after being off for 155 days but is another that could lead or track them. Pabusar has got poor all-weather form and may prefer a faster surface. It usually tracks the leaders. Keep It Dark has only got slow times over course and distance and may prefer a faster surface but its form on the all-weather isn't that good. Exotic Guest may need the run after having 162 days off and has never won on the all weather plus it might find this trip on the short side....Pull The Pin is the fifth horse that could possibly lead and comes out third on my ratings if it runs again to make it two outings in two days. Ladweb has poor all-weather form and is either held up or tracks the leaders.

3:25 Lingfield - Dorback comes out fourth on its all-weather figures but has produced a very fast time on good to firm going, which it hasn't yet reproduced on an artificial surface. Trending may need a run after 114 days off and may prefer a slower surface. It can be either held up or tracks the leaders. Ceelo has poor all-weather form and only done slow times on good to firm going but may be one of five horses that like to lead. Quality Art is another potential leader but has only slow times at course and distance and usually does better at Kempton. Alhaarth is the third possible pace-setter but has never won on the all weather. DANZOE is the fourth possible leader and does have the best draw in stall one, which could be an advantage. Dishy Guru comes out second best on my ratings and may do best of those that are either held up or track the leaders. Johnny Splash is the fifth possible leader and comes out third on my ratings . Purford Green has only shown poor form and this might be too far for it. Eric gave the Tricast for this race paying £87.97

SUMMARY: 3.05 Southwell - I'm relying on RAMBO WILL to have the pace to either stay with the leaders and then prove the strongest or could even lead all the way. 3.25 Lingfield - DANZOE is well drawn in stall one and I'm hoping it will be enough to give it the advantage it needs to either lead all the way or prove the strongest close to home.
