4:05 Lingfield Racing Tip (3rd April) COMPARE BOOKMAKERS AT BOOKMAKERS.CO.UK HANDICAP (CLASS 4) (4yo+ 0-80)

Bapak Chinta has only got poor all weather form and may also prefer a slower surface. It can either track the leaders or be held up. Clear Praise is a hold up horse but isn't in my top six. Secret Missile may need the run and find the trip too far - not for me. Lady Phill may also need the run and it needs to improve to be involved. Valmina is either held up or tracks the leaders and comes out second best on my figures. There's not much between any in my top six. Glastonberry can
employ any type of tactics including leading but has a poor draw in stall ten to try and lead. It's in my top six so must come into calculations. Jubilee Brig likes to track the leaders but isn't in my top lot so I'm a bit surprised to see it being made the 9/2 favourite. GREGORI can either lead or track the leaders and comes out slightly on top of my figures. It's  ideally drawn in stall one for a front runner which tips the balance into me making it the selection and hope it leads all the way. Jungle Bay is either held up or tracks the leaders and comes out in my top six and may not be quite good enough to win but it could, like all the others in my top six, make the frame. Kuanyao is another that can lead and comes out fourth in my figures. I'm just hoping this horse and the selection don't battle for the lead too much and burn each other out. Seek The Fair Land is a hold up type and comes out third on my ratings but it is slightly better now days at seven furlongs. Fossa likes to either track the leaders or be held up but may prefer a slower surface.

6:45 Wolverhampton - A five runner race but there are a few horses that may have improvement in them so I'm leaving the race alone.

8:45 Wolverhampton - Dissent is either held up or tracks the leaders but may prefer a faster surface. Volcanic Dust can deploy any tactics and is well berthed in stall two if it decides to try and lead but only comes out sixth on my figures. Evens And Odds can be held up or track the leaders and comes out fourth on my ratings so may not quite get there quick enough to win but it could feasibly make the frame at a big price. Outbid can lead or track the leaders and is placed fifth on my ratings. But is stall eight ideal to lead especially when there's two other potential leaders drawn nearer the rails? Ivestar has only produced slow times over course and distance with its either hold up or track leaders style. I'm a bit surprised to see it as low as 9/2 joint favourite. SPIC N SPAN is another that likes to lead and I backed this horse last time out and I think it has got another chance here to lead all the way. College Doll is another that can either lead or track the leaders but isn't in my top six ratings. Dear Ben has poor all weather form and doesn't figure in my ideas of the winner. Lord Buffhead likes to track the leaders and comes out second on my figures but is drwan the widest of all. Amis Reunis is a hold up type but has poor times over course and distance. Harpers Ruby is either held up or tracks the leaders and is making its handicap debut but I'm of the opinion it won't feature in the finish.

SUMMARY: 4.05 Lingfield - I will be backing GREGORI 6/1 with the hope that it can lead all the way from its stall one draw. 8:45 Wolverhampton - I will be backing SPIC N SPAN again in this race. I'm hoping it can lead all the way. It's nowhere near as big a price this time at 9/2 and about its true odds. (E.R.I.C.)

Gregori 6/1 1st
