5:45 Nottingham Racing Tip (19th April) HAPPY EASTER FROM NOTTINGHAM RACECOURSE HANDICAP (CLASS 6) (4yo+ 0-65)

Fifteen runners and five of them have been known to lead: Dawn Catcher, Give Us A Belle, Sophies Beau, Dancing Maite and China Excels. But not one of them is in my top four ratings. Fourth top rated is Taurus Twins, who usually tracks the early pace, third top is Avonmore Star, who also likes to track the leaders, second top rated is Fratellino, who can either track the leaders or can be held up. My top rated is *TWO TURTLES DOVE a 12/1 shot who is also a track the leaders type. Its last four wins
have all been over today's trip of five furlongs it should win but is a nice each way bet at the price. The figures are all taken using good to firm or better going as the standard and it has won on other ground as well.

7.00 Bath - Sixteen runner Listed race over a distance of five furlongs and twelve of them are having their first race of the season. It's virtually impossible to know what's fit and what's not. I gambled with two horse's fitness today and both of them let me down. I cant get a picture of this race so I wont be having a bet in the race.

7:30 Bath - I often find it hard to decide whether you need a strong five furlong horse or a weak finishing six furlong horse. Tonight's race is a seventeen runner affair and I haven't got a clue. Another race to leave alone.

* NR - Two Turtle Doves
