3:40 Ripon Racing Tip (18th May) C. B. HUTCHINSON MEMORIAL CHALLENGE CUP (Fillies´ Handicap) (CLASS 3) (3yo+ 0-95)

Love Island can track the leaders or lead and is my third top rated so could be hard for most to catch. Bondesire is another that can either lead or track the leaders and is my second top rated so it could be a fairly fast run race.

Burren View Lady may not like this faster going but is quite versatile. CHEWOREE is my top rated and can be held up or track the early pace. It is quite tight between the top three rated.

Iffanesia may find this distance stretching its stamina and doubt it will be involved in the finish. Mayfield Girl may prefer a slower surface also a shorter distance so doubt if this race is for him. Augusta Ada may need this run after having been off for 266 days and has only produced relatively slow times. Khalice hasn't produced a time to get involved here and it's only a three year old but it does like to lead.

5:10 Ripon - Come On Dave can lead or at least be up with the early pace and is fifth in my ratings. Haajes prefers to track the leaders and is my sixth top rated. Holy Angel is a hold up horse but has only produced slow times and may prefer a longer trip. Noodles Blue Boy usually tracks the pace but has only slow times to its name.

Rylee Mooch can lead or track the leaders and is my third top rated so must have some sort of chance.

Adams Ale is another that races prominently or even leads and is my fourth top rated but may prefer another furlong. Thatcherite is a hold up type and is my second top rated so could be finishing well as the early pace looks like it will be fast. Indian Tinker can either lead or track the early pace but has only produced times slower than whats needed here.

CAPTAIN ROYALE can either be held up or track the leaders and it has every chance against these if getting a clear run.

Boxing Shadows likes to track the pace but its times are slow and im surprised to see its 9/2 favourite. Sir Geoffrey isn't as good on the grass nowadays as it is on the all weather so doubt this will be his day. Shilito has only produced slow times with its tracking the leaders style.

SUMMARY: 3:40 Ripon - This race is very tight between the top three rated and one of them is the 7/4 favourite (Bondesire) but it's not good value so I'm leaving this race alone. 5:10 Ripon - This race could be run at a very fast pace with five of the twelve runners having made the running before and it should set it up nicely for a fast finisher and it could well be CAPTAIN ROYALE. It's available at 11/1 so I think its hopefully a decent each way price.

Captain Royale 1st 22/1
