2:05 Newcastle Racing Tip (28th June) BETFRED HALF TIME IN-PLAY BOOSTS HANDICAP (CLASS 2) (3yo+ 0-100)

Only one known front runner Kimberella who is my sixth top rated but could be hard to catch if it gets an easy, uncontested lead. I've got two joint second top rated: Picture Dealer and Above Standard, who can both either be held up or track the leaders. Top rated is MUTHMIR 7/2 who usually tracks the early pace and hopefully can sit handily and finish strongest.

2:40 Newcastle - No known front runners in the race so could be a tactical affair. Third top is Body And Soul, who likes to track the pace, second top is Hitchens, who also likes to track the pace but can also be held up, while top rated is SAAYERR 3/1 who comes out quite a few pounds clear of the rest here.

2:45 Chester - Five of the ten runners have been known to lead before and Stone Of Folca, my third top rated and Monumental Man who comes out second are two of the five. Top rated is *SLEEPY BLUE OCEAN 20/1 who will hopefully sit just off the pace and finish strongly so maybe a small each way bet. *NR

4:10 Windsor - Thirteen runners with two known pace setters: BAHAMIAN HEIGHTS who is the fourth top rated and ASHPAN SAM 7/2 who is my joint top rated so if it gets an easy lead will be very hard to catch but at the weights SECRET WITNESS 16/1 has exactly the same rating so can't be dismissed but I'll go with the possible leader to hold on.

5:05 Chester - Just Little Eli known as a possible leader but its times are slow. Once again I have two horses on the same rating: WASSEEM FARIS 14/1 and STORM LIGHTNING 7/1 both can be held up in a race or track the pace. If pushed, I'd have to go with the latter but only because the stable is in better form than the other yard.

6:20 Lingfield - Nine runners but no known pace setter so maybe another tactical race. Dawn Catcher and The Dandy Yank are my joint second top and the latter being a three-year-old is open to improvement. However, I'll stick with the top rated INDIAN TINKER 11/4 who usually likes to track the leaders.

7:05 Doncaster - Seventeen runners and only one known front runner Azrur who is at four-years-old still open to improvement. You never can tell what might happen if a horse gets an easy uncontested lead but it isn't in my top five. This race is 13/2 the field so a very open. Baby Strange is my third top rated and Commanche is second best. Top rated is NAABEGHA 16/1 so could be worth a small each way bet.

SUMMARY: Too many races to recap but do remember to check the going as all my ratings are done on good or better going, any give in the ground and it's no bet.
