2:20 Hamilton Racing Tip (18th June) SAM COLLINGWOOD-CAMERON HANDICAP (CLASS 5) (3yo+ 0-75)

Ambitious Icarus has only produced slow times and is either held up or tracks the leaders but I doubt this will be its day. King Of Eden can employ virtually any style of running including leading but its times have been slow and it may prefer a longer trip. Economic Crisis can be held up or track the early pace but its times are slow and it might find this trip too far. Amenable is another that can be held up or track the leaders but may find this trip too far and its times at the distance have been slow. Gold Beau can lead or track the leaders and its my second top rated so if it gets to the front will be hard to catch.

ALEXANDRAKOLLONTAI is my top rated and was third behind Gold Beau before but is now five pounds better off for being beaten three quarters of a length and a neck and can be held up or track the pace.

Hab Reeh has been in good form lately but its times have been slow and is a hold up type. Les Gar Gan is a three year old so open to improvement but may find this trip on the short side and needs to improve its times to get involved here. Bapak Muda is the third horse that has been known to lead before but its times have been slow and it mat find things happening too quickly for it here and would be better over a longer trip. Oak Bluffs is another three year old who may prefer a slower surface and its form on good or better going is quite poor. Baltic Spirit the third three year old and it may prefer a shorter trip and its form at this distance is quite poor.

SUMMARY: The selection ALEXANDRAKOLLONTAI 11/2 is weighted to overturn its defeat by Gold Beau earlier and prove the strongest here.
