An eleven-runner class six claimer where eight of those have been known to lead so should be run at a very fast pace. My top rated is COME ON DAVE but it only comes out top by a very small margin and is one of the likely leaders so may get burned out early so maybe only worth a small each way bet if price permits. My second top rated is First In Command, who is one of the three horses that doesn't like to lead - so if they burn each other out battling for the lead this may be the one to take advantage.
4:30 Hamilton - *******No bet as ground has changed********** It says its good to firm going but please check before you have a bet. Thirteen runners with three known front runners: Baron Run, Rioja Day, Goninodaethat. However, none of them have recorded a time to stay there to the finish. Orwellian is my third top rated but may really be better on a slower surface, which shows the horse is quite durable and usually likes to track the leaders. Second top rated is Medici Time who is either held up or also tracks the leaders. Top rated is MANDALAY KING 16/1 but it hasn't had a run for 276 days and also likes to track the leaders and it's perhaps worth a small each way bet at the odds and hoping its fit enough to do itself justice.
7:20 KEMPTOM - Twelve runners here with only one known pace setter: Desert Strike. It may be very hard to catch as it's my second top rated. The only horse that could catch it on my figures is NOVERRE TO GO 9/1. It usually tracks the early pace so hopefully can sit in a good position and come home the strongest and at the available odds is worth an each way bet.
SUMMARY 3:20 Southwell - Maybe a small each way bet at the most on COME ON DAVE if the price is big enough. 7:20 Kempton - Once again an each way bet seems best on NOVERRE TO GO 9/1. Hopeful this one can get into a handy position to stay on strongly at the end of the race.
