2:15 Lingfield Racing Tip (8th July) 32RED HANDICAP (CLASS 6) (3yo+ 0-60)

Gung Ho Jack prefers to track the leaders whenever possible but its times only put it into fifth on my ratings so doubt it will be able to pick up one of the pace setters. Sewn Up can either track the leaders or be held up and only comes out sixth on my ratings so doubt it will be concerned in the finish. Dissent is one of the two horses that have been known to lead before but its times have been slow at this distance and finds the sixth furlong a bit too far. Saga Lout can track the leaders or be held up which is what I think will be its tactics here as it really prefers the five furlong trip. Catalinas Diamond can be held up or track the leaders and is my third top rated so could make the frame if it runs to its best. Danzoe is the other horse that's been known before to lead a race and its my second top rated and I think it might even get an easy lead and be hard to catch. Commandinpresence usually tracks the pace but it is only my sixth top rated so may struggle to get involved in the finish. Reginald Claude is a hold up type and is my fourth top rated so would need something not to run to its best to make the frame. Molly Ahoy is only a three year old so open to improvement and is either held up or tracks the pace but hasn't ever ridden on the course to register a figure. PROPER CHARLIE 12/1 is my top rated and usually tracks the leaders and is well drawn in stall two to get a good early position and then hopefully come home the strongest of them all. Dancing Angel is another three year old that hasn't ridden at the course so has no figure and open to improvement.

4:30 Pontefract - Chooseday is either held up or tracks the leaders and comes out second on my figures so could make the frame. Secret Look hasn't done enough to register on my ratings. Rocksilla has also only produced slow times and hasn't achieved my lowest rating. Dark Castle likes to track the leaders but is only seventh on my figures so doubt it will be involved in the finish. Misplaced Fortune is either held up or tracks the leaders but has only done enough to be my eighth top rated. Hadaj can either track the early pace or even lead but then it still only comes ninth on my ratings but could be a danger if it got an easy uncontested lead. My Name Is Rio prefers to track the pace but hasn't done enough to register on my figures. NAABEGHA 20/1 who can be held up or track the leaders is my top rated and can sit in a good early position from its stall three draw when the two likely leaders are drawn is stalls two and eight. Sunraider can also either be held up or track the pace and is my third top so could make the frame. King Of Eden is fifth top and can be held up or track the leaders but would need to improve to make the frame if others run to their form. Al Khan also likes to be held up or track the pace and is my fourth choice so could possibly make the frame. Boy In The Bar is the other possible front runner but can also track the leaders and may prefer good ground and wouldn't want it any firmer but its times have been slow. It Must Be Faith likes to track the pace but may not really be a sprinter and may find this trip too short.

SUMMARY: 2:15 Lingfield - it has to be an each way bet on PROPER CHARLIE 12/1. 4:30 Pontefract - once again I have to recommend an each way bet on NAABEGHA 20/1.

Proper Charlie 16/1 2nd
Naabegha 12/1 Unp
