3:30 Nottingham Racing Tip (10th July) DATA TECHNIQUES INSTALLING CONFIDENCE HANDICAP

Five horses in the race that have been known to lead before, Best of the possible pace-setters is Clubland, who is my fourth top rated; third top is the favourite Katawi, who being a three year old could have improvement to come and it usually tracks the leaders; my second rating is Bajan Bear, who can also track the leaders or be held up. Top rated is BONNIE CHARLIE 10/1 who also can either chase the pace or be held up but I'm very wary of the fact that both my top two ratings are trained by David Nicholls so keep stakes small.

4:05 Nottingham - Only seven runners and only one known front runner, which is also my top rated MEANDMYSHADOW 9/2. Should get an easy lead and hold off all challengers.

5:25 Doncaster - Four possible known front runners in the field and Bosun Breese is my fourth top rated. Captain Royale is my third top so it will be hard for many horses to get involved, while second top rated Flash City usually tracks the leaders but isn't ideally drawn in stall four. Top rated is EMJAYEM 14/1 who also likes to track the early pace and isn't drawn too badly in stall nine, so should be able to get a good early position from which to launch its challenge.

5:30 Newmarket - A strange race because with fifteen runners there's only one that's been known to lead before. Come On Dave who is rated my fifth best and could have an easy lead and be dangerous. Third top is Stone Of Folca who doesn't want it too firm; third top is Doctor Parkes and Lupo Doro my second top - both can either be held up or track the leaders. This is the usual tactics of my top rated *ARCTIC LYNX 16/1, and the trainer James Bethell has got Richard Hughes to ride. He has employed him seven times before on his older horses and it's a combination that has won two times. *NR

8:50 Epsom - Three known leaders here. Clear Praise is my joint fourth rated whilst another possible leader is Sacrosanctus who is my second best but hasn't been in form lately but it does have Silvestre De Sousa riding it here. Top rated is the three-year-old ISEEMIST 4/1 who got beat in a photo last time out and is still open to improvement.

Bonnie Charlie 10/1 6th
Meandmyhadow 9/2 5th
Emjayem 14/1 4th
Iseemist 5/1 1st

Lovely winner from Eric. He's been hitting the crossbar of late with a few fancy priced tips (14/1, 16/1, 16/1) being placed. Always good for juicy winners and it's only time before Eric hits the target.
