Of the ten runners there are four horses that have been known to lead and both of my top two are front running types so I doubt if Sunny Side Up and Goninodaethat will be fast enough to lead. Third top rated is Tango Sky, who is the hold up type. Back to the front runners, my second top is Jinky and this is the favourite for the race. However, my top rated - also possible front runner - is *LAMI LOUIS 20/1. I'm hoping it will just too quick for the rest, so at the odds it could be a decent each way bet.
4:30 Ayr - This is a poor race and I've only got one horse that has ever achieved my lowest qualifying mark and that is *HERE NOW AND WHY 10/1. It has run a little bit better than its form would suggest at first glance and I'm hoping this flat course will bring out the best in it, so I'm suggesting a small each way bet.
6:50 Lingfield - Nine runners but only one known possible front runner. My fourth top rated is Al's Memory who can either be held up or track the leaders; my third top rated Outbacker just prefers to track the pace setter, while second top rated Drive On is usually held up. Top rated PUTIN 6/1 is the previously mentioned only known front runner so I'm hoping it gets an easy uncontested lead. It has been ridden by lesser jockeys the last four starts but now has Luke Morris on board which must be a plus.
*Not applicable due to changing ground condition. Eric only advises a bet on good ground or better.
