Seventeen runners with four horses known to lead before but three of them are not in my top six but Bondi Beach Boy is the sixth top and could be a danger if he gets an easy lead. I've got joint third top rated Imperial Legend and Fitz Flyer who both like to track the leaders, my second top rated Long Awaited also tracks the pace but my top rated is the three year old *SKYES THE LIMIT 20/1 and can track the pace or be held up and its nicely drawn in the highest stall so should have plenty of opportunity to get a good early position. I think the handicapper may have let it in lightly and at the odds is an each way bet. *NR
4:50 Ascot - Eighteen runners but only one known to lead before but Shore Step isn't in my top four so maybe not going to be good enough but with an easy lead it can improve a horse by a few pounds. Joint third top are Noble Deed who likes to track the leaders and Picture Dealer who can also track the pace or be held up. Second top is Slip Sliding Away who can also track the pace or be held up which can also apply to my top rated selection *MARJONG 20/1 so hopefully its an each way bet. *NR
7:05 Chepstow - Ten runners with half been known to lead before and that includes four of my top five rated. Fifth top Edged Out, thrid top Rylee Mooch, second top Solemn and my top rated HAADEETH 10/1 so it could be run at a very fast early pace and I'm just hoping they don't blow each other to bits trying to lead, so keep stakes on the small side.
4:05 York - I've now got joint top rated FITZ FLYER 7/1 & IMPERIAL LEGEND 16/1 and just like yesterday they are both trained by David Nicholls. I've dutched his pair yesterday and am suggesting the same today backing Fitz Flyer to win and Imperial Legend each way and you make a profit if just the bigger selection makes the frame.
4:50 Ascot - Now my top rated is SLIP SLIDING AWAY who is the 6/1 favourite.
Imperial Legend 16/1 4th
Fitz Flyer 7/1 6th
Slip Sliding Away 13/2 Unp
Haadeth 10/1 4th
