3:35 Beverley Racing Tips (13th August) RAWFIELD AND PARAGON DATA HANDICAP (CLASS 5) (3yo+ 0-75)

Ambitious Icarus likes to track the early pace setters and comes out joint fourth on my figures but has never won off a mark as high as this. Ypres is a hold-up type but does need genuine good to firm or firmer going to show its best so doubt conditions will be ideal although it does come out joint second best on my ratings. Hazelrigg can either be held up or track the leaders but may prefer a slower surface so if its good or firmer I doubt it will be involved but if the ground is on the soft side, which will suit it, I won't be betting as my ratings/betting is dependent on fast ground. NOODLES BLUE BOY 7/2 is my top rated and prefers to sit in just behind the leaders - staying on strongly at the finish and hinted at a return to form when second last time out seven days ago. Bosham is the only horse in the field that has been known to lead before but it can also track the leaders but it might find this trip too short and may not have the speed to burn these off. Economic Crisis can either be held up or track the early pace and comes out joint second top on my ratings and wasn't beaten too far last time out. Mr Mo Jo likes to track the pace setters and comes out joint fourth on my figures but has never won off a rating as high as this and needs to drop about four pounds to be competitive. Manatee Bay can track the early pace or can be held up but its times have been slow so doubt it will feature here if the going is good or faster. Cadeaux Pearl is another that can either track the pace or be held up but again its times have been quite slow even when it won three runs ago. Mey Blossom once again can be held up or track leaders and it has been in decent form lately. Its times have been on the slow side.

SUMMARY: All of my ideas rely on the going being good or faster. If I knew for sure it would be suitable going I would be getting on NOODLES BLUE BOY at the 7/2 now but its imperative that the going is right before deciding to have a wager.
