A five-furlong Class five race that's been split into two divisions. Seventeen runners with three known possible leaders: College Doll, who hasn't produced a decent time on grass, Dawn Catcher, who is my fourth top rated, third top is Ambitious Icarus who ran second on Tuesday, so not sure if it will run again. However, it has shown it's in form. Second top rated is Macdillon. This one prefers true good-to-firm ground which I doubt it will get here. I'm just hoping it's good! Top rated is the third possible leader, LITTLE ELI 16/1. On its best time, Eric Alston's [pictured] gelding has a few pounds in hand and visor for the first time. It has never won on soft ground so if it is testing - no bet.
2:00 Nottingham - Second division. Sixteen runners with three horses that have been known to lead before: Dazza, Rise To Glory & Rylee Mooch but none of them are in my top three and the latter ran Tuesday so may not compete. Third top rated is Lupo D'Oro who can be held-up or track the leaders. I've got joint top rated horses with Whitecrest 14/1 who has been top rated a few times lately. It may prefer a stiffer course where it doesn't find things happening quite so fast but has been out of form and letting me down. INDIAN TINKER 8/1 is the other joint top rated and likes to sit just off the front waiting to pounce.
Little Eli 20/1 3rd
