1:50 Catterick Winning Race Tips (28th October) DAVID BARKER MEMORIAL HANDICAP (Div I) (CLASS 4) (3yo+ 0-80)

Twelve runners for this 0-80 handicap over 5f 212y  on good to soft ground. Five horses have been known to lead: Polski Max, Gran Canaria Queen, Pennine Warrior, Percy's Gal & Banovallum. None are in my top three but the other possible leader, Gran Canaria Queen is my second top rated, so this should be a fast run race. Third top is Shady McCoy who usually tracks the leaders but top rated is AMBITIOUS ICARUS 16/1, which can either be held up or track the early pace. When apprentice Jacob Butterfield rides fro Richard Guest (on his older horses) he's won twice from six rides so it maybe worth having a small each-way bet at those odds.

2:20 Catterick - From the dozen Hadaj, who is joint third on my figures and Meandmyshadow who is second top, like to lead. Top rated is LAYLAS HERO 10/1 who likes to sit just behind the pace and finish strongly so again a small each-way bet.

4:20 Catterick - Fifteen runners but only three known to lead. Rylee Mooch is my third top and goes from the front; Shirleys Pride is my second top and can be held up or track the leaders; while top rated is INGENTI 8/1 who can also lead and if it does get to the front it could be hard to catch. This small stable must grab every opportunity and could be worth an each-way bet.

4:40 Wolverhampton - Ten runners with three possible front runners. However, two of them don't feature in my top five. Lizzy's Dream is my third top; Your Gifted second top. Top rated DREAM SIKA 5/1 is one of the possible leaders and if it gets to lead it would be hard to catch. Being the only three-year-old it could have some improvement still to come.

5:10 Wolverhampton - Ten runners. Only Hellolini and third top rated Quality Art have been known to lead. Here Now And Why is my second top.  LADYDOLLY is top ranked. I've no idea why it's priced at 16/1 unless the bookies know something I don't! It has to be a small each-way bet at those odds. I hope the bookies have got it wrong.

5:40 Wolverhampton - Three possible front runners among the thirteen entrants: Clearing, Langley Vale and third top Thataboy. Second top is Dominium, who is a hold-up sort and top rated is AMBITIOUS BOY 16/1 who can be held-up or track the early pace, so it has to be another small each-way bet.

Ambitious Icarus 16/1 2nd
Layla's Hero 11/1 5th
Ingenti 8/1 1st (N/A soft ground)
Dream Sika 11/2 6th
Ladydolly 66/1 Unp
Ambitious Boy 16/1 (adv) 1st
