3:30 York Winning Race Tips (11th October) CORAL SPRINT TROPHY (Handicap) (CLASS 2) (3yo+ 0-105)

Twenty runners is a class two race but rather surprisingly there is only one horse that has led before, that being Supplicant but it's not in my top five. I've got joint second top rated with Rene Mathis and Fast Shot - both are usually hold-up types though the former has been known to track the leaders. Top rated is REX IMPERATOR 33/1 who is usually held-up who has a bit of a mixed bag of results when running well in better company but not showing any better form when dropped in class. It's not one to bet heavily but if the going is good or firmer and it decides to put its best hoof forwards it could repay a small each-way wager.

4:15 Musselburgh - A class two conditions race with eight runners which makes it ideal for an each-way bet. There are two horses that have been known to lead before and they are the three year olds. Viva Verglas who hasn't produced a fast time as of yet and may need to get an easy uncontested lead to show its best. But even then it would have to set a slower pace to keep enough in reserve to repel the challengers but then I doubt the time will be very great. The other possible leader and the most likely of the two is SEARCHLIGHT 14/1 who is the top rated and I'm hoping it can set the pace and have enough to at least hold on for a place if not the win. Worth an each way bet as long as the going is favourable.

5:25 Musselburgh - Eleven runners with two known leading types. I have three joint top rated: Flash City, Bronze Beau, who are the two known to have led before and NOODLES BLUE BOY 10/1 it's just some of my statistics concerning course form jockey combinations and recent stable form that has tipped me towards the selection. If the two front runners go too fast it's the one capable of taking advantage.

5:50 Wolverhampton - Thirteen runners in a lowly class six race. Three horses have been known to lead before but none of them are in my top five rated. Third top rated is Major Muscari, while second top is Methaaly, who are both hold-up types. The top rated is PRINCE OF PASSION 33/1. It had a break in the summer and has had two runs since September 30th so I'm hoping it might now be ready to do itself justice and on its best form is hugely overpriced. I suggest a small speculative each-way bet

SUMMARY: Don't forget to check what the going is before having a bet.

Rex Imperator N/A Soft ground
Searchlight N/A Good to soft ground
Noodles Blue Boy N/A Good to soft ground

Prince Of Passion 50/1 3rd
