5:40 Wolverhampton Winning Race Tips (24th October) MONSTERBET CLASSIFIED STAKES (Tapeta) (CLASS 6) (3yo+ 0-55)

Daneglow may find six furlongs stretching its stamina so to stay this trip it will have to be held up to have a chance.

ENCAPSULATED 16/1 is my top rated horse and usually likes to track the pace-setters and finish with verve. It has had three runs on the all-weather  [Lingfield and Kempton] where it didn't show its best form - that came when it ran over this course and distance in July last year. I'm hoping the switch back to this course will suit and it will spring back to form. There's no betting yet as this is a stakes race but if big enough price I would say go with a small each-way wager.

High Tone usually tracks the leaders but hasn't recorded anything time-wise to enter my calculations.

Redalawi has only shown poor form and may find this trip too short so could be staying on at the finish but maybe too late to figure.

Thewestwalian can be versatile with its running style but so far hasn't shown enough but if it gets to the front, with an easy lead, it could be a hidden danger.

Aphrilis is another versatile horse and another hidden danger if it gets an easy lead but with four horses that have been known to lead I doubt it will gain such an advantage.

Brean Splash Suzie is a hold-up type but has only shown relatively poor form and might find this trip to be too stiff.

Clear Focus is another possible pace maker and another possible hidden danger.

Fujin prefers to track the leaders but its form has been quite poor so far.

Kingsway Lad has only shown poor form so far with its track the leaders style but may need further to show its best.

Princess Rose the fourth possible leader but its overall form is also on the poor side.

Secret Applause has never run on the all-weather but may find this trip to be too short for it to show its best.

Wedgewood Estates is either held up or can track the pace but may be another that could prefer a longer trip.

SUMMARY: I would only suggest a small each-way bet on ENCAPSULATED 16/1 as there could be a few hidden dangers but I always go with what's proven and not what might be. There's another sprint at Doncaster 3:30 but the going is given as good to soft and good in places. I would be interested in Ashpan Sam 25/1 for an each-way bet if the going was good but I will hold fire if there's any cut in the ground.

Encapsulated 16/1 (adv) 3rd
