Thirteen runners. Only Goadby has been known to lead before but it's not done enough to be in my top five. I've got joint third top rated with Logan's Lad and New Decade but they are a few spots behind my joint top rated. Invigilator's stable has been out of form lately so that makes me go for WHIPPHOUND 12/1 who will most likely to sit just behind the leader. At the odds, it may pay to have a small each-way bet.
2:15 Wolverhampton - There are four possible leaders here and the best of those could be Pearl Noir who is my fifth top rated. It's a hard race to solve but the top rated Climaxfrotackle 9/1 has a few spots in hand but the horse's last four runs have been poor and the stable has only had one winner since June so may be best to leave the race alone.
3:20 Wolverhampton - Only one known front runner in the field comes out fifth top rated so could have place claims. There is very little between my third top rated Diamond Charlie and my second top Dissent but my top rated SOLAR SPIRIT 25/1 has a few spots in hand. It has now dropped down to a rating of seventy-five which is the highest mark it has won off so could have at least place claims. It can either be held up or track the leaders depending how things look at the head of the field.
SUMMARY: 1:45 Wolverhampton - A small each-way bet on WHIPPHOUND 12/1 could show a profit. 2:15 Wolverhampton - Top rated is Climaxfortackle but I'm dubious about having a bet so I'm going to say leave the race alone.3:20 Wolverhampton - Let's hope dropping back down to a rating of seventy-five does the trick and SOLAR SPIRIT 25/1 shows its true form and worth a small each-way bet at those odds.
