INSOLENCEOFOFFICE 3/1 won last time out over course and distance in a time a few spots faster than any of the others in the race. It is capable and should sit just behind the pace and stay on strongly at the finish.
Foie Gras has no course form but its figures at Kempton make it my third top rated and can either track the pace setters or be held up.
Salvado hasn't been in form lately and may prefer a longer trip but can track the leaders or be held up but not of interest to me in this race.
Synonym is a three year old who has been known to lead before and therefore could have some improvement to come but even with its style of running I still think it would be better over a longer trip.
Littlecote Lady usually tracks the pace makers and comes out second on my figures and ran better than its position, fifth, suggest, its stablemate Reginald Claude looked like being the trier out of the two that day and it wasn't pushed very hard when its chance to win had gone but could run a good race here.
Lucky Royale is another that likes to track the leaders but its recent form has been poor but on some of its best form it could be a hidden danger but I think it will find an easier opportunity before its allowed to show that hidden talent.
Sannibel is a hold-up type and is fifth on my ratings and would need to improve quite a bit to figure here but if others don't perform to their best it could have place claims.
Forzazi has not shown much form recently and may need a longer trip to show its best and it can track the leaders or be held up.
Spowarticus hasn't shown any form of note even though it can lead or track the leaders but it's a five year old now and only had seven runs so someone thinks its worth keeping in training, which isn't cheap to do.
Picnic In The Glen is three year old but it has only shown poor form whether its been held up or if its tracked the leaders in its five races and would need to improve dramatically to win this but never say never.
Little Choosey hasn't been in form lately and hasn't got a very good record on the all-weather. It can be very versatile with its running style, including leading, but I doubt it will be involved in the finish.
Studfarmer is another that's not been in form lately and has shown nothing much on the all-weather from six runs and can be held up or track the pace.
SUMMARY: A poor class six race where only five runners have registered on my figures and the selection INSOLENCEOFOFFICE (3/1) is quite a few spots ahead of the rest and that was recorded here last time out. It has been given a six pound penalty for that win and the stable are looking to get another win before the handicapper can assess it properly and they have countered the penalty by employing a seven-pound claiming apprentice. There are a few hidden dangers but as usual I will go with the proven and not rely on what something might be able to achieve.
