5:10 Wolverhampton Winning Race Tips (17th November) LADBROKES HANDICAP (Tapeta) (Div II) (CLASS 4) (3yo+ 0-85)

Ambitious Boy may be better off at six furlongs so will have to be held up to have any chance of staying the trip.

Ready has shown some degree of ability but all of its best form is on a slow surface. Now this course has been relaid the times are much faster then before and now more on a par with Lingfield and Kempton rather than Southwell which may be more suiting.

Mishaal is another I think will find the surface faster than it might like and its also difficult to say exactly what is its best distance.

COOL BAHAMIAN (9/2) is a three year old which won nicely last time out at this distance when racing at Kempton. If it takes to this course - I can't see any reason why it shouldn't - it has improvement to come and speed to win.

The Confessional may have preferred the old surface and hasn't shown enough on faster going to make me think it could win today.

Two Moons has been showing its best form at Southwell so may be found out here on a faster surface

Piceno has a career of seven wins but only one of them has been on the all-weather from thirty-three attempts. However, it has been placed eleven times so that is probably the best this one can hope.

Order Of Surface won last time out on grass [soft going] and its best time on the all-weather from Kempton isn't on a par with the selections time.

Fantasy Gladiator ran behind the selection last time out and is weighted to go a lot closer here. In fact, they are virtually level rated but the stable of this runner isn't in the best of form so I'll go with the selection.

SUMMARY: There are no sprints today so I have gone for this seven furlong race instead - it's the nearest I could get! It is a close match between Fantasy Gladiator and COOL BAHAMIAN 9/2 but the selection's stable is in better form and being a three-year-old could improve again to win.

Cool Bahamian 9/2 2nd
