5:45 Wolverhampton Winning Race Tips (15th November) £20 RISK-FREE AT UNIBET HANDICAP (Tapeta) (CLASS 5) (3yo+ 0-70)

West Coast Dream is one of three horses that have led before but it isn't in my top four but then none of the front runners are.

Touch The Clouds is a three year old who can lead or track the leaders and if it gets an uncontested lead then it could improve to some degree but it would need to a big improvement to win on what its shown so far.

Alpha Delta Whisky is the third probable front runner but it has never run at this course but has only ran on the all-weather five times with two wins. If it reproduced its Kempton race time here it would be my top rated. However, John Gallagher [trainer] hasn't had a winner at Wolverhampton in the last five years!

Lexington Rose usually tracks the leaders but its times haven't been good enough for my top four and is another three year old that would have to improve dramatically to win this.

Simply Black is another three year old but this one is fourth on my figures so any improvement could see it make the frame.

Dynamo Walt is my third top rated and another three year old so should be around at the finish.

Oil Strike has been out of form lately and its times here have been slow but it recorded a fast time on good to firm going on grass so can't be discounted completely but its not for me.

Electric Qatar can either track the leaders or be held up and is my second top rated so could have place claims if things go its way.

Howyadoingnotsobad has only got poor recent form and its times at its best would only make it my fifth top rated so doubt it will bounce back to form here.

JOYOUS 12/1 can track the leaders but with the make up of this race it may deploy its alternative style of being held up. If it gets a clear run it should have a good chance as its got a few spots in hand and a reproduction of its last run here over this distance when it finished back in fifth in a fast run race, it had to switch for a run that day and when its chance of winning had gone it wasn't pushed too hard.

Bilash is a hold-up type but its overall times have been on the slow side and I doubt it will figure here. Kodafine likes to track the leaders but it has produced faster times over the six furlong course than the five of this race.

SUMMARY: If JOYOUS 12/1 gets the clear run it needs then it will be finishing strongly here and must have at least each-way claims. There are a few if and buts concerning the race so keep the stakes on the low side.

Joyous 12/1 Unp
