1>Random has only recorded a slow time at this track but that was over five furlongs but on its time at Wolverhampton over this distance makes it second rated on my figures and being a three year old it could still have some improvement to come so ought to make the frame.
2>Billy Red usually likes to blast off from the start and is my fourth top rated and is also the only known front runner in the race so he could make it hard for most of the others in this field , even though hes a course and distance winner I think its a bit better over five furlongs but could make the frame if others fail to do their best.
3>Lujeanie can either be held up or track the leaders and is my top rated and it should get the fast early pace it likes to aim at to win races and this is the first race for a while that its had a realistic chance of winning.
4>Compton Prince isn't in my top four ratings and its form lately has been quite poor and that includes when being behind Billy Red six runs ago and its second place last time out was in a very slow time.
5>Gabrials Wawa has won a couple of races on the all weather but they were over a longer distance than this race and I think it will be outpaced here but will obviously staying on at the finish but whether it will be close enough to make it count I have doubts about.
6>Reginald Claude has flattered to deceive before and as hold up horse does need some luck in running when trying to challenge, it looked an unlucky loser when second three runs ago at Wolver hampton but its last two runs at Lingfield and Kempton have been nowhere near that level of form so I'll wait for this horse to revert back to Wolverhampton where its best time makes it my third best.
7>Tableforten hasn't any form on this course and distance but has had seven runs without winning on the all weather already and I'm of the opinion this horse might be better over a longer distance.
8>Purford Green has only produced poor form as of yet and would need to improve dramatically to figure in this race.
SUMMARY: I'm hoping that Billy Red sets a fast pace and then fade inside the final furlong where I expect LUJEANIE 9/2 to have been sitting in a good early position and then come home the strongest.
Eight runners with two known pace setters, Profile Star who is either second or third on my figures because of the other possible front runner Qatar Princess, this horse has never run at this track but has done a time at Wolverhampton which would make it my top rated but all its other form doesn't put it in my top seven so it makes the race a bit hard to call but as a three year old and it likes the course it could lead all the way but if it fails to shine on this course then Profile Star might set the race up for Pharoh Jake. So I'm saying back QATAR PRINCESS 9/2 and then have another bet on PHAROH JAKE 4/1 just in case Qatar Princess cant reproduce its Wolverhampton form here and to make sure there's a profit whichever one wins.
Lujeanie 5/1 3rd
Phorah Jake 4/1 1st
Qatar Princess 9/2 6th
''Great conclusion to the year for Eric Winner. £3539.08 profit for the year with the level £10 win per selection or £5 where I've put 2 up in a race. I would like to thank Eric for all his hard work. Fantastic.''
