2:40 Southwell Winning Race Tips (1st January) DAILY PRICE BOOSTS AT UNIBET CONDITIONS STAKES (Fast Track Qualifier) (CLASS 2) (4yo+)

1>Dungannon hasn't any form on this course but it is its best distance and the surface should suit, which makes it a slightly hidden danger. It's not for me in this race but I couldn't dismiss its chances very easily.

2>Even Stevens is my fourth top rated and is one of only two horses in the race that have been known to lead. I think it will find one or two too good for it here but could have place claims if it gets an easy uncontested lead.

3>Meadway is the other possible leader in the race, it has only had two runs over this course and distance and it won both of them but the times were very slow for the grade so I doubt it will be able to cope with these speedier types.

4>Perfect Pastime also hasn't got any form on this course and from its other form it looks like this surface might be too slow for it to operate to its maximum plus I think another furlong would suit it better as well so its not for me in this race.

5>Poyle Vinnie usually likes to track the leaders and its my top rated with a few spots in hand of the next best so hopefully it will find a nice early prominent position and then come home strongest at the finish.

6>Royal Bajan is my second best rated on times and can either be held up or track the leaders but I'm not sure if its quite class enough to win this, it won in class three on its last run and this is its best all weather surface but the others might be just too good class wise for it to cope.

7>Woolfall Sovereign is third best on my times and has had two runs recently after not having a race since March this year, it has won at this course but I do think its a little bit better on a faster surface but I think a place is its best hope.

8>Sleepy Sioux hasn't got any form at this course but could be a hidden danger, its best time from Kempton would make it my third top rated as with lots of races this is another that I think might not really be a class two horse and has won in class three so has to make the step up at some point but I think this might not be its race.

SUMMARY: There is a couple of possible hidden dangers but as usual I go with the top rated with the proven form so it has to be POYLE VINNIE 100/30 who has a few spots in hand over these on its best times and hopefully it will prevail here.

Poyle Vinnie 100/30 Unp
