2:20 Lingfield (31st January) UNIBET HANDICAP (CLASS 6) (4yo+ 0-65)

1 > Roy's Legacy is usually held up or tracks the leaders and is my fourth top rated so he can be competitive at this distance so could make the frame but hes even better over the minimum trip.

2> Ghost Train is my third top rated and can deploy any style of racing including trying to lead and has the inside draw here so a front running style could be used here and must have at least place claims.

3> Flighty Clarets is usually either held up or tracks the early pace but its times have been poor and its not in my top eight.

4> Gabrial's Wawa won last time out over course and distance but the time of the race was quite slow and I wonder if it will cope with the faster early pace I expect to happen in this race and may despite winning at this distance last time out it might be even better over further.

5> Archibald Thorburn may also prefer a longer trip as its times at this distance don't get it into my top six and I think it may have to be held up in this race.

6> Billy Red is the other known front runner and this one can be very fast early in a race and drawn in stall seven those inside of it may get squeezed out it not careful but it still only comes out sixth on my ratings.

7> Haadeeth is ridden her by a seven pound claimer which moves it into second place on my figures but stall six could be a problem being next to an fast starter and it does like to track the leaders, so it could possibly make the frame but then again it could get baulked out of the race early on.

8> Mimi Luke is nought from seven on the all weather but has been second in five of those runs but none in a time o register it in my top eight.

9> LUJEANIE was my tip for last saturday and its a bit of a surprise to see it being the selection again here, last week it finished well but way too late and with a more prominent run should be able to get to the front here and im hoping it follows Billy Red from its stall eight draw and gets a good early position and then finish fast to win but just as I said last week the stable isnt in the best of form which is a concern but this could change the yards fortunes.

10> Gold Club has only ever had ten runs but is still a maiden and it might be better over five furlongs and its not for me here and it may need the run after a five month layoff.

11> Lewisham hasn't got any form on this course but it has done a time at Kempton that would make it my second top rated but its not certain it will repeat that time here but could be slightly hidden danger.

12> Reginal Claude is usually held up in its races and comes out fifth top rated on my ratings but it does look hard to know exactly what to expect from it but I doubt it will win this.

SUMMARY: LUJEANIE 8/1 was my selection last Saturday and finished well into fifth about a length and a half behind the winner but way too late then with the make-up of this race it can hopefully get a better early position this time and then not have quite as much ground to make up with its fast finishing style and reverse last weeks result.

Lujeanie 8/1 Unp
