2:20 Lingfield Winning Race Tips (7th January) UNIBET OFFER DAILY JOCKEY/TRAINER SPECIALS HANDICAP (CLASS 5) (4yo+ 0-75)

Nine runners over five-furlongs in what should be a fast-run race for the class.

Fourth top rated is Johnny Splash, who is capable of leading a race and is well housed in stall two. It may try to lead all the way although I'm not sure if he will be able to.

Third top is Triple Dream who usually tracks the leaders but will need to get into a good position from stall six.

Second top rated is Welease Bwian who can also track the leaders or be held up but from stall three I think it will try and tuck in behind the leaders and stay close to the rail.

Top rated is ROY'S LEGACY 14/1 has got Joe Fanning on board plus it's the other known front runner and is ideally drawn in stall one. If it does get to the front, and gets the fractions right, it could lead all the way. The stable hasn't been in form of late so keep stakes to a low level but at the price I don't think I can let it go without having a small each-way wager.

3:20 Lingfield - Six furlongs and eight runners with two known pace setters in Quickaswecan and Monarch Maid who are my seventh and sixth top ratings so I doubt they can stay in front all the way.

Third top rated is Varsovian who can be held up or track the leaders but it might really prefer a longer trip but it has to have an each-way chance as its quite a few spots ahead of my fourth top.

Top Offer is my second best rating and another that can be held up or track the pace.

Top rated is MULTITASK 11/2 who at its best has a few spots to spare and is a genuine hold-up type and if it gets a clear run must have every chance to win. In addition, the statistics point to it being a positive selection.

7:10 Kempton - Ten runners and two of them have been known to lead. Spowarticus, who is my fourth top and Douneedahand, who is third top rated, so it should be a fast-run race.

Second top position goes to Gung Ho Jack who likes to track the pace.

Top spot goes to NEW RICH 9/2 who beat Douneedahand last time out and is weighted to repeat that form. This hold-up horse will need a clear run when trying to challenge but it has every chance here and the statistics are also a positive.
