1- Encapsulated can be held up or track the leaders and is only my sixth top rated.
2-The Wee Chief may need this run after having been off course for 213 days but at its best it's my second top rated. I'm not sure it will run to that form.
3- VOLITO can be held up or track the leaders and is my top rated and has a few spots in hand over the others in this race.
4- Soul Instinct is quite versatile in its running style. I expect it will either track the leader or be held up but it is naught from nine on all-weather tracks so it's not for me.
5- Waterloo Dock is in good form winning last time out at Wolverhampton but on its times here it only comes out fifth on my ratings. However, it could be one of the pace-setters and has the nearest stall to the rails of the three possible leaders.
6- Malih is naught from nine on the all-weather and may prefer a longer distance to show its best.
7- Island Express comes out fourth on my figures but it hasn't won on the all-weather from thirty-four attempts and may need a longer distance.
8- Fleeting Indian is the second horse that likes to lead but hasn't achieved any fast final times from nine attempts on the all-weather and still looking for its first win on an artificial surface.
9- Quantum Dot can be held up or track the leaders and is weighted to be third on my ratings so could have place claims if it runs to its best.
10- Macks Sister may find this distance too short and has only recorded slow times so not for me.
1- Pensax Lad is fifth top rated but may prefer a slower surface to show its best.
2- Lady Ibrox has poor all-weather form and could be a hidden danger but I doubt it.
3- Lucy Parsons could try to lead and is well drawn in stall one to do it but hasn't run for 546 days so could be rusty, so not really sure what to expect but i'll leave it alone in this race.
4- Scoreline may really prefer a slower surface but still comes out joint third top and usually tracks the leaders.
5- Captain Whoosh is the other joint third top rated and could be open to some degree of improvement but needs more to win this.
6- ARCTIC LYNX is my top rated, which it recorded last time out, and unlucky in-running when only beaten two lengths. It can be held up or track the leaders.
7- Rise To Glory is the other possible leader, which means it could be a hidden danger especially as its tried to lead over six-furlongs never mind five furlongs like this race.
8- Black Dave may find this trip on the sharp side but still comes out second on my ratings but is quite a few spots behind the selection.
SUMMARIES: 2:35 Lingfield - VOLITO is 25/1 and I cant quite work out why it's so big in the betting but it can, hopefully, get a decent position early on and finish the strongest in what looks a weak race even for a class six race. At these odds it is worth an each-way bet. 7:15 Wolverhampton - There could be a few hidden dangers in this race but they would all need to find quite a lot of improvement to win and ARCTIC LYNX 8/1 has quite a few spots in hand. With a clear run must have a decent chance of the win at the price and as long as there are no non-runners I will suggest an each-way wager.
Volito 25/1 Unp
Arctic Lynx 8/1 2nd
