2:40 Wolverhampton Winning Race Tips (26th January) Not Disguising The Chance Of Baugh's Horse

1> Kodafine led all the way last time out over five furlongs, which was a surprise as it hadn't been able to lead in six-furlong races so if it leads here it must have every chance but it's not known for performing well with less experienced riders aboard and is only fifth on my figures so it's not going to be my selection.

2> Master Of Disguise has been unlucky in both of its last two races when not getting a clear run but today's jockey, Sarah Brotherton, is quite adept in this type of race and if she can find a clear passage it must have the best chance of all of these.

3> Volito hasn't been running well lately and I can't see any reason why things should change for it today and I've got nothing time wise to rate this horse with so will not be fancied by me here.

4> Prigsnov Dancer usually likes to track the leaders and comes out third on my figures so should have at least place claims.

5> Lazy Sioux may find this trip a bit too far so may have to be held up to have any chance and its jockey is one of the more experienced jockeys in this sphere of racing but its not for me over six furlongs.

6> Two Turtle Doves is a horse that can win when the mood takes it but its another that may be better over the shorter distance and its hold up style could help but its not worked well before.

7> Amis Reunis this ones last run was in November when behind number four and can track the leaders so could have place claims if others fail to do their best as its my fourth top fastest.

8> Waterloo Dock is a horse than can lead in a race and comes out sixth on my figures so if it gets an easy lead it could improve a bit but I think a place is the best it can hope for.

9> Steel City Boy may need to be held up here because I think its better at five furlongs but its rather strange that despite my reservations about the distance it still comes out second best on my figures, which I think shows how poor the race actually is.

10> La Danza looks like its not really a sprinter and would prefer a longer distance.

11> Masked Dance hasn't shown much and may prefer a slower surface than this which seems very fast.

12> Rich Harvest is naught from seven on the all weather but could be a hidden danger as its recorded a fast time on good to firm going and can be held up or track the leaders.

SUMMARY: A very poor class six amateur riders race where only six of the field have recorded a time at this course which I'm treating as a one off course because the Tapeta surface seems to be very fast, the selection MASTER OF DISGUISE 4/1 has got a good amateur aboard and its final placings haven't really told the story of not getting a clear run so I'm hoping she can get a clear run in this race and finish best of all but being such a lowly race for amateurs then stakes have to be kept small.

Master Of Disguise 4/1 4th
