3:25 Southwell Winning Race Tips (13th January) DAILY ENHANCED "MAGIC MULTIPLES" AT UNIBET HANDICAP (Div I) (Tapeta)

1> Guishan won last time out over six-furlongs and has only tried the five- furlong trip once at any course but it's a horse that either tracks the leaders or can lead so it could be a hidden danger but its times make me think it might find some others doing things a bit too quickly for it to go with them.

2> Scarborough is another horse that could possibly try to lead but it only comes out sixth on my figures so I doubt it could lead all the way here even if it tried to.

3> Sleepy Blue Ocean is the third of four possible leaders and this one is my fifth top rated so there should be plenty of pace in the race.

4> Only Ten Per Cent usually tracks the leaders and comes out second on my figures and with the make up of the race I wouldnt be surprised if it played into the hands of a horse that doesnt vie for the lead early on.

5> Alpha Tauri might find this trip too short for it to show its best and its figure only makes it ninth of the ten runners.

6> Oriental Relation likes to track the leaders but has only produced a rating that makes it eigth so I doubt it will pick up the leaders.

7> Indian Tinker can track the leaders or be held up and I think it could be a hidden danger in this race as its got some good form on grass on softish going but its times on the all weather have been too slow for it to register on my charts.

8> Extreme Supreme prefers to track the leaders and comes out fourth on my figures and I think the best it can hope for is a place.

9> Six Wives is very well handicapped on some of its form at this course but its recent form has been poor but this horse has been known to suddenly spring back to form with no prior warning before so its a horse that can never be discounted when in with a chance.

10> Bapak Bangsawan is the fourth possible front runner and is my third top rated so if its up at the front it could stay there long enough to make the frame.

SUMMARY: A strange race with a few possibilities when looking for the winner. As usual, I'm sticking with my top rated and that's SIX WIVES 40/1. I am not surprised at the price as the horse has been out of form for a while now but it is capable of springing back to life without warning so I'm going to recommend a small each-way bet at that price. This is the straight five-furlong course so the draw shouldn't play a part and another horse Bapak Bangsawan 40/1 is way too big for its capabilities but it's another horse whose recent form isn't great and this one could try to lead all the way, it is my third top rated. If they go off too fast in front with the possibility of four horses trying to lead then if the selection doesn't come back to form the horse that could benefit is Only Ten Per Cent 10/1. Scarborough has already been backed from 9/2 into 11/4 this evening and this is one of the possible front runners so just shows what a tricky race it is so keep stakes to a minimum whatever you back.

Six Wives 50/1 Unp
