QUICK TIP: BILLY RED (20/1 Sky Bet) 1st (WOW!!!!!!)
1> Top Offer can either be held up or track the leaders but may prefer a longer trip as its best time at this distance only makes it joint fifth on my ratings, so not for me here.
2> Shamahan can track the early pace setters or can be held up but its the other joint fifth top rating on my figures so another that I'll leave well alone here.
3> Hamoody like quite a few in this race can be held up or track the pacemakers and taking into account the good claiming apprentice on board it becomes my third top rated but with only two places I cant put it forward as a wager of any sort.
4> Pharoh Jake is my second top rated and another that can either chase the leaders or be held up so should have an each way chance but with only two places its not my idea of a wager.
5> Lupo D'Oro may find this trip too short and will try to track the leaders but it might get outpaced early on but will be staying on at the finish but is only fourth on my ratings.
6> Cardinal is another that may find the trip on the short side but its time is quite poor and is my bottom rated of the seven runners so not on my radar as a possible winner.
7> Billy Red is the only known front runner in the field so could quite easily get an easy lead and if this horse can set its own pace and keep some in reserve for the finish should have a good chance of leading all the way here.
SUMMARY: With the selection BILLY RED 20//1 being the only known front runner it could quite easily lead all the way here. The only negative would be stall seven but I think there should be enough time for it to get across to the rail before they reach the bend.
There's two three-year-old sprints: 4:00 Lingfield and 8:15 Wolverhampton - both are very short of any significant form, especially the Wolverhampton race. The other [4:00 Lingfield] race is a decent class three race and a few of them ran in the same contest last time out. Then there's two possibly hidden dangers lurking in the race which proves there are too many if's and but's to have a bet with any degree of confidence, so best leave the race alone.
