6:40 Chelmsford Winning Race Tips (19th February) BET TOTEEXACTA HANDICAP

1— Only Ten Per Cent likes to track the leaders but has a poor draw in stall thirteen so it will make its task that much harder. Ridden by a seven-pound claiming apprentice, who has only had one other ride for the stable, but if he's worth his claim then it becomes second top rated from its original position of fourth top.
2— Oriental Relation has been known to lead before and has drawn stall seven so not impossible and it could be a hidden danger but I don't think it will emerge victorious here but could make the frame if others falter.
3— Flexible Flyer is a hold up type of horse but it might not like this type of surface plus its quite poorly drawn in stall eleven.
4— Rouge Nuage usually tracks the leaders and is ideally drawn in still one to get a good early position but I think it will be a better horse at a longer trip.
5— Ada Lovelace prefers to track the early pace and is another that could have some slightly hidden improvement still to come but I'm doubting it will be in this race.
6— Evident is my fifth top rated and likes to track the early pace setters but could be squeezed out early from this stall being drawn between the two most likely leaders and I think it will be another that will improve for a longer trip.
7— Monsieur Jamie can bee held up or track the pace but I think it will do better on a slower surface and back down to five furlongs so not for me here.
8— For Ayman is a hold up type and drawn in stall twelve might get a good position if not taken too wide but isn't in my top six ratings.
9— Putin can track the early pace setters or lead itself and its been drawn in stall four which should give it every chance to try and lead all the way and follow up its last time out victory but that was here but over eight furlongs so stamina will not be a problem if it gets to the front.
10— Rocket Rob can be held up or track the leaders and is my third top rated, its drawn in stall three just inside what I think will be the most likely leader so it could get squeezed out or could be able to follow the leader and get a good early position and could make the frame with a clear run.
11— Mops Angel normally tracks the early pace and from stall nine it might be able to get an decent early position but its not in my top six ratings so its not for me here.
12— Summerinthecity can be held up or track the leaders and is my second top rated but its had thirteen runs on the all weather without winning so once again a place is maybe the best it can hope for from the widest of the draws.
13— Cadeaux Pearl usually tracks the early leaders and has been drawn in stall two so might get a nice early position but I think it will prefer a slower surface than this one.
14— Black Dave may find this trip a bit too short but is my sixth top rated and should be trying to stay on at the finish but needs others to fail for it to make the frame.
SUMMARY: A race where there looks to be a few that could be value for money but I as always am sticking with my top rated and that is PUTIN 10/1 who is one of only two known front runners and of the pair has the best draw in stall four, it won last time out at this course but over eight furlongs but has led races at this distance so if it gets to the lead it will be very hard to beat as there doesn't look to be any hidden dangers lurking in the shadows but as usual at the price I have to suggest an each way bet as any profit is better than none but it would be an each way bet where I didn't halve the bet to accommodate the bet but be betting twice as much.

Putin 14/1 4th
