3:25 Wolverhampton Winning Race Tips (7th March) UNIBET OFFER DAILY JOCKEY/TRAINER SPECIALS CLASSIFIED CLAIMING STAKES

Quick Tips: 3:25 Wolverhampton - Master Of Disguise 16/1 - 4:00 Wolverhampton - Invincible Ridge 25/1

Eight runners in a class five claiming race so automatically stakes have been put on the low side but I will persevere as I think I might have found something worthwhile putting. If it's an each-way price all the better. The biggest problem I can see in the race is where the early pace will come from - as none of them are known as front runners. However, both of the horses drawn in stalls one and two look like they will be better off at a longer trip so might get outpaced here. I'm hoping MASTER OF DISGUISE 16/1, from stall three, might attempt to lead all the way and it's got the perfect jockey in Luke Morris to do just that and at the price it will hopefully at least make the frame.

4:00 Wolverhampton -

1> Pretend is only sixth on my figures and despite liking to lead it may prefer further and from stall twelve it might struggle to get to the lead so will most likely try to get a good early position and hope its stamina comes into affect so if things go its way it could be a bit of a hidden danger so cant be discounted completely but its not for me.

2> Go Far is third on my ratings and usually tracks the leaders so could have place claims

3> Trojan Rocket comes out fifth top and another that likes to track the pace.

4> Boomerang Bob has poor recent form and also tracks the early pace.

5> Steelriver has recorded fast times here at both five and seven furlongs so could be a hidden danger and have claims here over six furlongs.

6> Tarooq may be better at five furlongs but still comes out fourth so it could have place claims but it wouldn't be my idea of a wager here.

7> Basil Berry has one a fast time here over five furlongs but I'm not sure exactly what surface or what distance suits it best, so cant say either way about its chances but its not for me.

8> Mappin Time another with a fast time over five furlongs but may prefer Southwell to this course and with the extra furlong I'm not expecting it to be there at the business end of the race.

9> Nocturn has had four runs only on the all weather so could like this surface and could be a bit of a hidden danger especially as it likes to lead and has stall seven so not impossible.

10> Age Of Innocence is a hold up type but may prefer a slower surface.

11> Ballista is the third and final known front runner and from stall two is well berthed to try and lead all the way and is my second top rated and I wouldn't put anyone off backing it each way as a cover bet in case my selection doesn't get a clear run.

12> Fear Or Favour likes to track the pace setters but hasn't shown much so far to get my attention.

13> Invincible Ridge has run respectably in this grade before and its time makes it my top rated and hopefully from stall four it can track the early leader who is in stall two and then come home the stronger at the end of the race and Luke Morris rides this one as well and has a good record when riding for Eric Alston.

SUMMARY: Theres a few potentially hidden dangers in the race which is to be expected at this level of racing but im going with the proven as usual, I do quite expect Ballista 10/1 will try to lead all the way from stall two and could be a decent each way bet especially if it gets an uncontested lead but im hoping INVINCIBLE RIDGE 25/1 from stall four will be able to get a good position behind the likely leader and prove the stronger close home
