3:25 Wolverhampton Winning Race Tips (24th March) DAILY ENHANCED "MAGIC MULTIPLES" AT UNIBET HANDICAP (Tapeta)

1 — Daring Dragon has run on this surface but over seven furlongs and that was in quite a slow time. It's recent form has been poor and by its breeding there's nothing to suggest this five furlong trip is in its favour. I can't see why it should figure in this race.

2 — Whipphound hasn't any form on this new surface and looking through its past form I don't think it will prosper on it so I'm passing this one by as well.

3 — Humour has had seven previous all-weather races without success and this trip may be too short for it and probably outpaced but ought to be staying on at the finish.

4 — Rat Catcher has been in good form lately and is my third top rated. It usually likes to track the leaders and has an inside stall so could get a nice early position and stay on at the finish. It could have place claims.

5 — Mr Mo Jo is fourth on my figures and one of four horses in the race that has been known to lead but has the widest draw to overcome.

6 — Emily Davison was a winning selection last time out at Chelmsford but the time that day was quite slow and I'm unsure if this surface will suit and in a fast run race it might prefer another furlong and even though it has been known to lead before I doubt it's quick enough to get from the front from stall eight.

7 — Trending can track the leaders or more likely be held up. It comes out second top on my ratings and if it gets a clear run from stall five it could have place claims.

8 — Louis Vee is quite versatile with its running style - including leading - and it's quite well drawn in stall four to attempt to lead all the way. If it gets to the front will be hard to catch.

9 — Mossgo is another that can lead and it has got the best draw of all the known front runners in stall two but its recent run over this course and distance doesn't help its chances as it was last of the ten runners that day, so I'm leaving it alone till it shows for certain that this track will suit it.

SUMMARY: Not a great race but about what to expect for the class and as usual some ifs and buts so already a concern about the level of stakes. There are four horses that have been known to lead before in stalls two, four, eight and nine. I'm not sure if Mossgo (drawn in stall two) will like the surface and that fact may swing things in favour of Louis Vee to get to the front and grab position against the rail and if LOUIS VEE 7/1 leads it will be hard to catch. If they did go too fast in front,Trending may capitalise as second top rated. This gelding will either sit just behind the leaders or be held up for a late run. Rat Catcher makes up my top three. It has been quite consistent and ought to make the frame if it gets a clear run from the inside stall.

Louis Vee 8/1 Unp
