4:10 Southwell Winning Race Tips (3rd March) DAILY ENHANCED "MAGIC MULTIPLES" AT UNIBET HANDICAP

Quick Tips: 4:10 Southwell - Shawkantango 25/1 EW 4:40 Southwell - Very First Blade 2/1

1>Powerful Wind recorded a fast time over course and distance and second place on my figures. It is one of seven possible front runners so it could be a very fast early pace. Being over a straight course, the draw plays very little part so ought to have an each-way chance.

2>Alpha Tauri may find this trip a bit too short so will have to try and stay near the pace to help its chances but is only seventh top rated.

3>Bapak Bangsawan is another known front runner and has a time that puts it into third spot on my list so could have place claims.

4>Electric Qatar is versatile horse with its running style and can lead if needs be but I don't class it as a natural front runner and is only sixth top rated by me.

5>Fortinbrass could be a hidden danger when its moved back up to six furlongs and may find this trip too short.

6>Eva Clare usually tracks the leaders and has recorded a time good enough to make it my fifth top rated so may not get to the leaders here.

7:>Samhain is a possible front runner but its overall finishing times are quite poor and only my ninth top rated so not for me this time.

8>Oscars Journey and the same applies that it could be a front runner but the time is only good enough for eight spot on my list.

9>Shawkantango usually likes to track the pace and its very best time would be plenty good enough here but it hasn't achieved the same level time wise since but as usual I go with the fastest horse in the race and that makes this one the selection.

10>Sir Geoffrey is another possible front runner and is weighted to be my fourth top rated and therefore could have place claims.

11>Kodafine is a versatile runner and could attempt to lead but maybe not be quick enough against these to be concerned and its times have been quite slow.

12>Costa Filey hasn't got any form on this course but its looks like this trip will be too short for it to show its best form so its not for me here.

SUMMARY: At its best the selection SHAWKANTANGO 25/1 has a time quite a few spots in hand over the rest of the field but like a lot at this level consistency isn't a word that applies to many of them. However, at the odds I am giving it as a small each way bet.

4:40 Southwell - A very very poor class six race with eight runners and two possible leaders but neither of them are natural leaders. Louis Vee is one of the possible speedsters but hasn't recording a time that registered on my graphs. In fact, there;s only one horse that's recorded a worthy time. This horse may lead but where Louis Vee is drawn in stall two VERY FIRST BLADE 2/1 is out in stall seven but if it does blaze a trail it could possibly lead all the way. It looks the best out of a very poor bunch so keep stakes to the minimum.

Shawkantango 25/1 4th
Very First Blade 2/1 3rd
