A Fillies' Handicap rated 0-70. Just six runners over this 5f on standard going.
1— Eva Clare usually likes to track the leaders and with only six runners should be able to get a good early position on this five furlong straight course.
2— Simply Black can be held up or track the leaders and has only achieved slow times at this course and it would be better off on a faster surface.
3— Meebo is the first of three possible leaders but if needs be it can also track the leaders and is second top on my figures so if it gets to the front and sets a slightly slower place it could something back in reserve to try to repel the late finishers.
4— Saved My Bacon is third best on my figures and can either lead or track the leaders, this horse would prefer a faster surface but must have some sort of chance here.
5—Misu Mac hasn't run over this course and distance and its times here over six haven't been inspiring and it may be even better over further.
6—Lazy Sioux is the third horse that has been know to lead before but this one can adopt all tactical styles and could be a bit of a hidden danger but I don't think it will be in this race.
SUMMARY: There's only six runners but quite an intriguing race with three possible front runners and one potentially hidden danger, with the second and third top rated on my list being two of the possible leaders it could be run quite fast for the grade but I'm hoping my top rated EVA CLARE 5/1 can get a good early position and finish the stronger. The trainer has a 26% win rate with his older horses here, the trainer/jockey combo has had 23% winners on older horses, the trainer has had 33% winners with his older horses this month and all three of those statistics are also showing a level stakes profit, so the signs are there for this to run a big race here.
