2:50 Chelmsford Winning Race Tips (7th April) AUGUST FAMILY DAYS AT CHELMSFORD CITY HANDICAP (CLASS 5) (4yo+ 0-70)

2:50 Chelmsford - Only five runners so no fancy prices but I do think I've got some view of the race but it is from a limited amount of data from this course, my second top rated is Invigilator who usually likes to be held up or sits close to the pace and come home with a fast late run so these small fields don't always suit. There's two horses in the race that have led before Bertie Blu Boy is a possible leader but is only my third top rated and the top rated OSCARS JOURNEY 100/30 is drawn in stall one and if this one gets an uncontested lead will be very hard to catch and only if the two front runners cut each others throats will it play into the second top rated hand.

4:20 Chelmsford - Not much better with only seven runners and quite a good class three race, Normal Equilibrium has never run on the all weather but I'm not convinced this surface will suit it and I'm not sure about Age Of Innocence but I doubt it will be able to win this. Royal Bajan is one of two likely leaders in the race and its my joint third top rated and the other is Clumber Street who won its maiden against a field of three year olds getting lumps of weight from it and it still won in a very fast time so could be anything, top rated is Dynamo Walt until you take off the seven pounds for the apprentice aboard Doctor Parkes, so I'm a bit confused which of these three will get the win.

4:10 Lingfiled -  Division one of this nine runner class four race, there's only one horse in the race that has been know to lead before and that is Glastonberry, it could lead but stall eight doesn't help its cause but it is my third top rated so if it gets to the front it should at least make the frame and could do even better if its an uncontested lead, my second top rated is Dishy Guru whilst the top weighted MULTITASK 9/1 is top rated and this horse is usually held up and needs a fast pace to aim at which could possibly be a negative in this race but if they go a good pace it will finish fast and late.

4:40 Lingfield - This second division looks quite a bit weaker, especially in depth, than the other race, I think that Vincenti looks the most likely leader and this horse would be third top rated on its best time from Kempton, if not then Oeil De Tigre might take it up. Third place goes to Salvatore Fury who is usually held up second top spot goes to Shamahan who normally tracks the early pace and this one could be a bit of a hidden danger. Top spot goes to DON'T HAVE IT THEN 4/1 another hold up horse but its fitness will have to taken on trust after having sixteen weeks off.

Oscars Journey 100/30 1st
Don't Have It Then 4/1 3rd
Multitask 9/1 Unp
