A class two race with eleven runners but only Supplicant being known to lead before and from stall two has the advantage is a low draw is best, YEEOOW 9/1 is my top rated if you take off the three pounds the apprentice, Joey Haynes, claims and hes got a good record with a 20% win ratio for the stable but the trainer has had fifteen runners at this course without having a winner so conflicting statistics and is drawn in stall one, my top rated originally was NO LEAF CLOVER 10/1 who may need a run after being off for two hundred and fifty four days, this is the first ride for Andrew Mullen for one of this stables horses so no statistics to help make a decision. Its either leave the race alone or back both to make a profit whichever one wins, I'm going with the latter but only to small stakes and at the prices I have to give them both as each way bets.
50 Pontefract - Eleven runners with only the bottom weight Fathom Five being known to lead before and that can usually be a warning to be careful but at eleven years old I cant see it finding any sudden improvement which it needs to win this but its not a great race and it could possibly make the frame with front running tactics. Second top rated is Monsieur Jamie with the in form Adam Kirby riding so could be thereabouts at the finish and make the frame, while top rated is PABUSAR 9/1 who is being ridden by a five pound claiming apprentice, I'm not sure whether to ignore the claim or not but whatever I decide it is still my top rated so it has to be the selection but stakes need to be kept low the price is just about good enough to put it up as an each way bet.
25 Windsor - Eight runners with just Whaleweigh Station having been known to lead before but it isn't in my top three, all of which may need a run after having some time off, Groundworker who is my second top rated seems to save his best for this course with its two best times being recorded here but the top rating is CRUISE TOTHELIMIT 6/1 who can be held up or track the leaders and hopefully from stall three it can get a good early position and also be fit enough to do itself justice but because of this fact stakes should be kept low.
25 Windsor - Sixteen runner with only two horses having been known to lead before and they have both been drawn in the two outside stalls and there's an advantage being drawn low so they will have to come across every horse to get to the front and of these two I have got Bushcraft marked down as a possible hidden danger so if this one gets an uncontested lead it might improve by quite a lot so cannot be dismisses easily, Noble Deed drawn in stall five, second top is Divine drawn in stall four and the top rated DEMOCRETES 10/1 drawn in stall six and all three of them like to sit close to the leader so there could be a bit of a scramble for a good early position and today its being ridden by Richard Hughes which makes me think the stable must fancy their chances of victory here but at the price an each way bet will make a decent profit if it doesn't get a clear run but makes the frame.
55 Windsor - A lowly class six race with sixteen runners but that bad a race only two horses have done a time to register on my figures. Black Vale and Telegraph are the two horses that have been known to lead before but neither are one of my rated runners, second top rated is Mambo Spirit but the top weight is also my top rated, LUCKY DI 16/1 and that is what I like in these low grade affairs and its been drawn well in stall one so should be able to get a good early position and stay on the strongly and at the price I have to put it up as an each way bet.
