2:10 York Winning Race Tips (14th May) BETFRED "SUPPORTS JACK BERRY HOUSE" (Handicap)

1— Tangerine Trees may prefer a stiffer course and likes to track the leaders.

2— Out Do hasn't run at this distance before and may prefer a longer trip.

3— Demora likes to lead or track the leaders, its best time came at a similar course, Haydock and is my top rated.

4— Perfect Pastime is another that may prefer further so may be outpaced if the goings firm.

5— Monsieur Joe likes to track the leaders and another that may prefer a stiffer course.

6— Willbeme isn't in my top six and maybe outclassed here with its best time coming from Ripon.

7— Zac Brown could try to lead but its times have been slow on grass.

8— Algar Lad is a hold up type of horse and this course should suit but not in my top six.

9— See The Sun could be a possible leader but has only recorded slow times on good going.

10— Lexington Abbey may prefer further but this track should suit but not in my top six.

11— Desert Law can be held up or track the leaders but its form has been quite poor for the last two seasons but on its 2012 times would be top rated, so cant rule it out completely but I leave it alone.

12— Burning Thread prefers to track the leaders but would prefer a stiffer track.

13— Red Baron the fourth possible leader, should like the course and my fifth top rated.

14— Pearl Acclaim will have to track the leaders as it may need further and not in my top six.

15— Judge N Jury the fifth and final probable leader and my co-second top rated but just might prefer a stiffer course than this one.

16— Doctor Parkes is another co-second top rated and also may like a stiffer course.

17— Ladweb is the third co-second top rated and this track should suit.

SUMMARY: A very nice class two sprint with five possible leaders and both my second and top rated horses are in this five and the early pace is most likely to be from the middle stalls to the low numbers and my top two are from stalls six and eight. Desert Law would have been the selection on 2012 form but its last two years form has been poor, I'm not a fan of going with the bottom-weights in a handicap because they could get outclassed and my three joint second top rated are the bottom three horses, so I'm sticking with DEMORA 10/1 to be prominent from the start and if it gets to the front could be very hard for the rest to catch if it repeats its best time from Haydock and it would be able to cope with good going and isn't reliant on firm going at the price it has to be given as an each way bet.

Demora 10/1 Unp
