50 Catterick Winning Race Tips (5th June) LIONWELD KENNEDY HANDICAP (CLASS 5) (3yo+ 0-70)

Twelve entered for this class five race with three known front runners, Sir Geoffrey who isn't as good on turf as he is on the all weather now days, Majestic Manannan who is my sixth top rated and Irish Girls Spirit who is my fourth top, third top is Busy Bimbo who can be held up or chase the leaders,CAPTAIN WHOOSH 12/1 is my original top rated and this one likes to track the leaders and PERFECT WORDS 18/1 was my original second top rated but taking off the apprentices allowance it then becomes the top rated, I cant split them so I'm suggesting backing both to show a profit whichever one wins

45 Catterick - Not a bad class four race with eleven participants including two known front runners in Cruise Tothelimit and Native Falls and these two also happen to be my joint second top rated horses so it could be a fast run race and not many getting involved in the race but top spot goes to AMBITIOUS ICARUS 11/1 and I don't think this one is flying too high here and likes to have something to aim at in front of it, the trainers statistics at this course and the jockey booking point to the stable expecting it to run a big race and hopefully it can get a good early position or a clear passage late on and catch the two leaders towards the end of the race and at the price could make a decent each way bet.

20 Catterick - Quite a poor race even for class six, there's twelve runners of which four have been known to lead, Bearskin would only front run if it had to because nothing else would, Taake The Lead lives up to its name but its times have been slow on good or better ground and it would be better off on a softish surface and it may also prefer a furlong shorter to show its best, that leaves Goadby who could lead and is my second top rated and has been running quite well lately but the top rated is BOGSNOG 9/1 and this also likes to lead so I doubt many will get involved in the race, it ran a good second last time out over five furlongs and finished well so this extra furlong should suit it and from a time in recorded at Leicester in 2013 over this distance would see it home quite easily

25 Bath - Thirteen runners here in a class six race and only four of them have even recorded times on my graphs but only Pull The Pin is known to lead before and this is third top on my figures and doesn't always find much at the finish and last time out when it finished second is typical of it, Two Turtle Doves is my second best but its more than capable but also not very consistent but could make the frame if on a going day but top spot goes to TRIPLE DREAM 7/1 who showed a glimpse of coming into form when third last time out when only beaten two lengths at this course and im hoping this veteran horse can run one more big race here and stay on the strongest at the finish.

30 Bath - A strange race for me to work out as its actually over five and a half furlongs and I'm never sure if I want a strong finishing five furlong horse or a weak finishing six furlong horse but here its unusual in the fact that I've got SILVERRICA 12/1 top rated over the course and distance so has to have some degree of chance but SWENDAB 25/1 has a thirteen spots higher rating over six furlongs but an eleven points lower rating over five furlongs both of them have been known to lead before but so have four more in the field so it could be a fast run race which could make it harder so I'm suggesting backing both to make a profit but stakes should be kept on the low side.

50 Goodwood - A class three race with four three year olds taking on five older horses and its now June where the three year olds catch up with their elders and have a more than equal chance at the weight for age to win races.the only known front runner is Barbs Princess but this ones not in my top four, third top is Glastonberry who is a hold up type and the same style applies to my second top rated Links Drive Lady but top spot goes to the three year old TOHFA 7/1 who's time recorded at Doncaster over six and a half furlongs and where it led with about three furlongs still to race would put it well clear of these and its from the all powerful Hannon stable, last time out it didn't stay the seven furlongs so this drop back in trip looks ideal and I'm hoping it can get a good early position close to the front and then take over for the win, I'm guessing though the price might be a bit on the short side.
