2:55 Hamilton Winning Race Tips (17th June) SAM COLLINGWOOD-CAMERON HANDICAP (CLASS 5) (3yo+ 0-75)

Only class five and a rather strange race to get any idea of how it may pan out mainly because of the inconsistency of the horses, of the eleven runners both Ben Hall and Spirit Of Wezda could lead if nothing else wanted to but there is a more natural front runner in the form of the top weight Jacobs Pillow who is my fourth top rated, the three year old Spirit Of Wezda who could still improve further in time is my third top rated, second top spot goes to Salvatore Fury who can be held up or track the leaders whilst top spot goes to GOLD BEAU 25/1 who normally sits just behind the pace setters and then stay on strongly at the finish. And at the price has to be given as an each way bet.

6:40 Ripon - A very poor class six apprentice race, so that already puts me on the back foot and the stake level isn't going to be very high, there's only Fathom Five of the ten known to have led before so could have a chance if it gets an uncontested lead but there's only one of the horses that's recorded a time good enough to register on my graphs and is of course the top weight MANDALAY KING 10/1 who did its best time at Hamilton a similar course to this one, this is the jockey's third ride and I'm hoping its third time lucky for her but it is such a poor race as I've said stakes have to be kept on the low side and once again at the odds on offer it has to be given as an each way bet.

6:50 Chelmsford - A decent class three race over the minimum distance with nine runners and also two or three front runners, Free Zone may try to lead in this race although I don't think the surface will show it to its best but it could be in the race to take on the front runners to help its stablemates chances, Desert Strike has been known to lead but isn't what I would call a natural front runners but it is my second top rated, Stunned is my original third top rated but with the three pound claimer on board it moves to top spot and is the stablemate of Free Zone and usually tracks the leaders and then stays on strongly but the jockey has ridden five times for them before without winning and the jockey on Free Zone rides regularly for the stable, top spot on my original times is FOXY FOREVER 9/2 who is also a front running type and has got stall one but I am very wary of the two Robert Cowell trained horses (Stunned 3/1 favourite and Free Zone 25/1) so keep stakes low.
