Only seven runners in a class four race with the tree year old Midlander and Ask The Guru my fifth top rated having been known to lead before but the form of the three year old doesn't amount to much and this years form is poor. Storm Lightning is fourth top rated but I'm not sure if hes capable of repeating that time, Flying Bear is proven with his form but its only good enough for third spot here, EXTRASOLAR 6/1 is officially my second top and is also proven to be able to repeat that time but does need good to firm going to show its best but Indian Tinker is top rated using just one time and I think it might have been a fluke as its been nowhere near that time since and I don't think its really a class four horse and would be better dropped down a grade in to class five. I, as usual will stick with the proven so I'm going with Extrasolar.
5:15 Beverley -Let's say right from the start this is an apprentice race so there's only a bet if there's something good with a good apprentice riding and even then stakes are low because of the inexperienced riders sometimes there's some interference during a race which can produce strange results. Saireem has been known to lead before but the more natural front runner looks like being Perfect Peak who I have got marked down as a possible hidden danger just because of the fact its a front runner and being a three year old could have some improvement to come so it cant be easily dismissed from the analysis, Iggy is the joint top rated but it might find this distance a bit short but it will be staying on at the end and if they do go too fast in front it could get involved but I'm not convinced if the horse is capable of reproducing its best time and its not been in good form lately, top weight SEE VERMONT 13/2 recorded its best time this year and looks capable of doing it again so has to be the selection.
