45 Epsom Winning Race Tips (6th June) INVESTEC CORPORATE BANKING "DASH" (Heritage Handicap) (CLASS 2) (3yo+)

What a cracking race this looks like being, class two with twenty runners, I must be a nutter trying to sort this one out, there's only three proven front runners in the race, Free Zone looks likely to be a bit outpaced against some of these and isn't in my top six ratings, Boom The Groom is sixth top and a front runner, Normal Equilibrium is my third top rated and can be held up or track the leaders, the second top rated Monumental Man is the third possible leader and could have at least place claims but top spot goes to CONFESSIONAL 20/1 who normally likes to track the early pace and then come home strongly but in such a big field it needs to get a good early position or a clear run as the race unfolds but its a good price so an each way bet makes sense.

25 Musselburgh - I hate seven runner races but this is another one, top weight Distant Past is one of two front runners but I think this one might have too much weight to be truly competitive but the other possible leader Royal Bajan is my second top rated, third top rated is Go Go Green who has got a seven pound claimer on board which would move it to joint top rated or in this case second spot because my top rated IMPERIAL LEGEND 11/2 is ridden by a good five pound claimer to keep it ahead plus the trainer statistics for this horse is quite good which points to them expecting it to perform well.

50 Epsom - Competitive class two handicap with fourteen runners with a spread of nineteen pounds from the top to the bottom of the handicap, there's three horses that have been known to lead before in the race, Hopes N Dreams who's times are a bit slow compared to some of these, Smidgen is my seventh top but only one spot below the co fourth top rated and Ashpan Sam is one of co fourth top and also a known front runner, Extrasolar is third top but may not be able to cope with this class of opposition which could also apply to my second top rated Swiss Cross, I've got TAAJUB 25/1 down as my top rated but this one does need true good to firm or firmer going to show its best and if the goings not firm enough it might be best to leave the race alone even if the going is firm enough its a hard race so stakes should be kept low and at the price each way.

30 Lingfield - (Turf) 6.30 A class five race over the minimum trip, Saved My bacon has been running quite well on the all weather but has only had one run before on grass but if it brings its recent form and takes to the surface it could be a bit of a danger, Ya Halla won its last race on softish going but I cant say it wont act on a faster surface so could also be a danger as its in form, third top rated is Go Glamorous who may need the run for fitness and finished last season very much out of form, second top rated is Honeymoon Express who is the only known front runner in the race so with an easy uncontested lead could improve, top rated is WHITECREST 9/2 who can be held up or track the leaders, the statistics from the trainer points to them expecting a big run here, im going to suggest backing the selection but also having a small saving bet on HONEYMOON EXPRESS 16/1 just it gets first run on the others and pinches enough of a lead to hang on for the win and might make an each way bet on its own.

00 Lingfield - (Turf) 7.00 With only seven runners the prices might be a bit tight as its a fairly tight little handicap with not much between the top four but i'll have to wait and see.Tarooq is well weighted but maybe not quite the class to be a threat here, Charles Molson is third top rated and can track the leader or be held up, second top rated is Kinglami and this one needs good to firm or firmer going to show its best, not sure if the going will be that good, I'm writing this Thursday lunchtime so has time to dry out before the race, also its being ridden by a good apprentice and when you take off the three ponds he claims it becomes joint top rated, my top rated is LANGLEY VALE 7/2 and needs the same going conditions as Kinglami but the selection may have the edge as its the only known front runner in the field and if it gets an easy lead will be hard to catch and the trainers statistics all point to a big run.

10 Newcastle - Ten runners in this lowly class six race and it is a very poor race even for the class with only one runner recording a fast enough time to register on my graphs but there could be some slightly hidden dangers, the top four in the race have all been known to lead and I think this race will be won from the front or at least very close to the front. I'm thinking Eland Ally has had enough chances to show something and is the first one discarded from my thoughts from the top four, Chookies Lass is either a hidden danger or this trip is too short for it, as a four year old it could still improve but I'Em siding with this trip being too short for it, Classic Flyer is a three year old so could have improvement still to come so could be a hidden danger but I've a feeling it wont quite happen in this race, ROY'S LEGACY 5/1 is the top rated and if it gets to the front it should be able to hold on against these.
