2:55 York Winning Race Tips (11th July) JOHN SMITH´S CITY WALLS STAKES (Listed Race) (CLASS 1) (3yo+)

2:10 Ascot - My summary of this race will be vague because there are just so many horses that could be the winner in fact of the eighteen runners I can only cut it down to eight, Robot Boy usually tracks the leaders, Discussiontofollow who may prefer six furlongs but will be staying on strongly if it gets a clear run and if there's a fast early pace, Normal Equilibrium who can be held up or track the pace, Lady Gibraltar is being ridden by a five pound claiming apprentice to help its cause, Meadway who could be one of the early pace makers, Pearl Acclaim from the Nicholls' yard with the son riding, Barnet Fair usually a hold up type and should be staying on well at the finish and Taajub who is well weighted and capable of doing a fast time but might not quite be good enough class wise but cant be dismissed from the calculations, maybe a race best to watch and savour than to place a bet as it is super hard and I still might not have named the winner.

2:55 York - A nice listed race with fourteen runners and four of them have been known to lead and one of those four is my top rated plus my fourth top rated Boom The Groom, third top is Speed Hawk who usually tracks the leaders, second top rated is Take Cover who also likes to track the pace but hasn't been in form recently but is now an eight year old so maybe its best days are behind it. My top rated is *STEPPER POINT 10/1 who was unlucky when balked near the finish at Sandown not to have been in the frame, it is a possible front runner and if it gets to the front on this easier course it might stay in the front a bit longer and hopefully enough for the win if not at least a place and the price permits us to bet each way.

*Stepper Point NR

3:35 Chester - Nine runners with five of the field having led in a race before so this could be set up for a staying on type as long as it gets a clear run, Portamento could try to lead and is only a three year old so could improve but needs to improve a lot to win this race so maybe another day for this one, Anonymous John would probably only lead if nothing else wanted to so doubt it will lead here, Roudee another three year old is my third top rated as well as being a possible front runner, second top and front runner is Lexis hero but its stuck out in stall nine so will need some luck or super acceleration to get to the front from the widest draw but its not impossible, my top spot is GRAMERCY 13/2 who can track the leaders or be held up and if it gets a clear run near the finish could prove the stronger.

3:45 Newmarket - The Group One July Cup over six furlongs and what a super race it looks like being which is to be expected at the top class of racing, Anthem Alexander is my fifth top rated and as a three year old could still have some improvement to come which also applies to Muhaarar who is my second top spot and this pair of young horses could go right to the top in time, Due Diligence is in my opinion the most likely leader and could be a bit of a danger if it gets an uncontested lead but has to improve a few pounds to beat all of these, fourth top spot goes to Eastern Impact who can track the leaders or be held up, third top is Muthmir who usually likes to track the pace makers but top spot goes to TROPICS 25/1 who likes to sit just behind the pace setters and then stay on real strongly and at the price has to be given as an each way bet.

6:30 Salisbury - Ten runners with a couple of front runners the three year old paint The Star could improve and Prince Regal could come back to form if it gets an easy lead and this one has the second best time on my books but I'm not sure if it is capable of repeating it here but will be a danger if it does but the top rating goes to SHADY McCOY 4/1 who has won its last two races.

Gramercy 10/1 5th
Tropics 25/1 2nd
Shady McCoy 4/1 3rd
