A very good class two sprint with twelve runners and of those two are what I would call natural front runners and my second and third top ratings are in the three possible front runners, I've got Double Up and Justice Day, third top is the three year old Midlander while second top is Boom The Groom so there should be a fast early pace but top spot goes to GREEN DOOR 8/1 who ran very well three runs ago when third at Newbury and a repetition of that form/time would be good enough to win here, its two runs can both be ignored one because of the ground and the other was over six furlongs, this horse has also been known to lead but only at a slower pace but here I think it will either track the leaders or be held up.
35 Haydock - Twelve runners in a class four race but only Speedy Move has been known to lead and is my joint fourth top rated so hopefully it will be run at a decent fast pace, Dominate comes out third top and second spot goes to NEZAR 7/1 who usually likes to sit just behind the leaders and then stay on at the finish, SECRET WITNESS 20/1 is the top rated but hasn't been in form lately so im not sure if it can repeat its time recorded at Doncaster last year so im going with doing both to show a profit whichever one does the business.
55 Redcar - Twelve runners with five of them having led before but three of them are not in my top four, I've got Whozthecat a possible leader and fourth top rated, third top is Vallarta who can be held up or track the leaders, second spot goes to Mishaal who can run in a variety of styles including leading im hoping there's a decent fast pace for the selection HEAD SPACE 7/1 to aim at and it does like this sort of flat course and it looks like this is the first horse the trainer has sent here for at least five years so im hoping this is a good pointer to expecting a big run.
05 Haydock - Eight runners with only the top weight Bronze Beau being known to lead before so could improve a few spots if it gets an uncontested lead so could make the frame, Thatcherite is third top but quite a few spots below Beau Mistral my second top rated but top of the pile is SLEEPY BLUE OCEAN 9/1 but it isn't very consistent and is capable of springing back to form but any stakes would have to be kept to a minimum.
20 Lingfield - Seven runners on turf here but only Langley Vale has been known to lead but isn't in my top three. Welease Bwian is third top and GUNG HO JACK 15/2 is my second top and I think this one can reproduce its best time but top spot goes to SHAMAHAN 20/1 but this one has bee out of form this year but is capable on its day so im having to go with both to show a profit whichever one wins but stakes have to be kept low.
40 Ayr - Eight runners with only Gowanharry having been known to lead who is my fourth top rated and I expect this one to run near to its best time which could see it make the frame with an easy lead helping its cause, Bunce is third top and a bit of an enigma as im never quite sure how fast this horse is as it did one real fast time but hasn't been anywhere near it since, Go Go Green is second top and I do think this one is capable of repeating its best as is the top rated ECONOMIC CRISIS 7/1 who can either track the leaders or be held up.
