1:55 York Winning Race Tips (19th August) SYMPHONY GROUP STAKES (Handicap) (CLASS 2) (3yo+ 0-105)

Twenty runners in a very good class two race over the minimum distance at a fast course with five known possible front runners but I'm a little wary as the top figures are all at the bottom of the handicap and im not sure if my two joint top rated are class enough to win this, Meadway is one of the possible front runners and Singeur can be held up or track the leaders, Shore Step is another possible front runner if its fast enough to lead over this trip, the highest rated horse who I think will definitely be able to reproduce is Silvanus but it is a very hard race to predict and I cant get a picture of how the race might pan out and I've got eight horses all within ten spots of each other, I've got this course marked down as having a bias towards the low drawn horses in big fields and four of the five possible front runners are drawn in single figures so it pay to go with something drawn low but which one im just not sure, so I think its a race to watch and savour.

3:55 Ffos Las - Quite a decent race for a class five affair with ten runners and three known front runners, Dawn Catcher isn't in my top three and Samhain may need some cut to show its best but Sir Billy Wright has been known to lead at six furlongs, im not sure if it will be able to lead over this shorter trip but will be a very big danger if it is fast enough to lead here but im going with the proven, as always. Pabusar is well weighted and comes out third best but im not completely convinced its capable of reproducing its best time from Hamilton last year but even that shouldn't be enough to win, second top spot goes to Secret Asset and is also a horse im not sure can reproduce its best times whilst top spot is CRUISE TOTHELIMIT 6/1 who hasn't bathed itself in glory this year but this is probably the best chance its had this year if the going is good to firm and it should have the fast early pace it usually likes to chase and will hopefully stay on for victory. [No bet - Soft ground]
