3:00 Musselburgh Winning Race Tips (26th Aug) TDC WASTE MANAGEMENT HANDICAP (CLASS 4) (3yo+ 0-85)

A very nice looking race with eleven runners and six of them have been known to lead, I've got three horses marked down as my joint second top rated, Lexington Place who would lead if nothing else wanted to but is quite versatile with its racing tactics, Innocently who is another possible front runner and I'll Be Good who can be held up or track the leaders and is being ridden by a three pound claiming apprentice which would move it into second spot on its own but top rated is SECRET ASSET 12/1 and this one is being ridden by a seven pound claiming apprentice who has ridden the most winners for this stable, which is very unusual, its been running over six furlongs most of the time lately but is even better at five furlongs and I think its been found a good opportunity here to be finishing fast as the line approaches and hopefully get the win or at least a place and the price allows me to go each way.

3:20 Lingfield - Only seven runners but four of them have led before and three of them are my top ratings, fourth top is Head Space but the apprentices claim would move it into third spot, in the original third spot was Lead A Merry Dance, second top rated is the well weighted Prince Regal who had been in form up until its last run and im not sure this step up in class will suit the horse, top rated is REFUSE COLETTE 5/1 who won last time out on good to soft ground but it wont mind the going whatever it is and if gets to the front will be hard to catch.

4:10 Catterick - Quite a poor race of twelve participants, there's only two that have been known to lead and I've a feeling the race ought to be won from the front, the top weight Bosham won last time out, from the front at Wolverhampton to make it two wins from only two runs on the all weather tracks but is only one win from twenty two runs on turf and it hasn't produced a recorded time, today its chances are not helped with a stall ten draw, the other front runner and selection is GOADBY 10/1 who was a 16/1 third for me last time out and on that occasion didn't get to the front but has got stall three here and should have the rails to run against and if getting to the lead ought to be hard to catch but it is a low level race and stakes will also be low but once again at the price I have to be going each way on it. [No bet - Soft ground]

5:15 Catterick - A field of twelve runners and with a total of six possible leader or leaders but none of them, Keep It Dark, Even Stevens, Galvanize, Eland Ally, Perfect Peak and Sir Geoffrey are in my top four ratings so they should set it up for a horse either being held up or sitting just off the pace and staying on strongly at the finish, fourth top is Windforpower and Imperial Legend are both types that like to track the leaders and I think both of them are quite capable of repeating their best times if the ground is good or better, second top is Busy Bimbo but this one is very erratic with its times and hasn't given any reason to think it will be its turn today and on its recent runs would be well down my ratings, exactly the same could be said of PERFECT WORDS 14/1 who has shown very little in five races this year so far but its best time did come at this course and distance and also completely out of the blue last year, so im going with a small bet just hoping it springs back to form this time out and at least makes the frame as the price allows me to bet each way. [No bet - Soft ground]

5:35 Bath - Nine runners with four possible front runners which should play into the hands of my selection which is a hold up type and likes a fast pace to aim at, there's five three year olds in the field and Magical Daze, Lightning Charlie and Secret Spirit could be hidden dangers but hopefully its no their day today, I've got another three year old, Lady Geminin, also possible leader marked down as my second top rated and if its fast enough early to get to the front and dictate the pace could be a danger to my selection but I just cant see that happening, I think it will be a battle for the lead mainly with three year olds concerned and then they could be tiring at the finish and play into the hands of GLASTONBERRY 8/1 who is a hold up type and will be staying on strongly at the finish. [No bet - Soft ground]
