A very nice looking class three race consisting of sixteen runners with six of them having been known to lead before and both of my top two are among those possible pace setters, I think the bias will be with those drawn low but if they split into two groups there looks as though there will be three front runners in each group of runners, stalls thirteen, fourteen and fifteen are the high drawn known front runners and Judge N Jury from stall fifteen is my fourth top rated, Taajub is my third top rated and drawn in stall two and can be held up or track the leaders, originally Musicora isn't in my top four but its being ridden by a seven pound claimer which would move it into joint third so still maybe not enough for it to win but has a small chance of making the frame, my top rated is the three year old PIXELEEN 12/1 who has been in good form lately also a likely front runner and sits at the bottom of the handicap here but its form does merit it being given a chance against these better class rivals, I've got NOBLE STORM 12/1 as my second top rated but with the jockey taking three pound of its weight it moves to top spot and is another front runner, im going to back both to show a profit whichever does the business. [No bet - Soft ground]
7:45 Chelmsford - Class four race with eight runners but only my third top rated RED STRIPES 6/1 has been known to lead and its a three year old so could have some improvement still to come and if it gets an uncontested lead it could be hard to catch so has to be on my list as a likely winner and the three pound claiming apprentice would move it into second spot, my original second top rated is Borough Boy who normally tracks the leaders, the top place goes to ARCTIC LYNX 20/1 who can either track the leaders or be held up and has got a decent draw in stall two and im going with both of them to show a profit whichever one wins.
9:15 Chelmsford - Quite a poor class six race and eight runners again but this time three possible leaders and one of them Misstemper could be a bit of a hidden danger but it may not be able to lead here so it will have to wait for another opportunity, GLADSOME 11/2 is my third top rated but being ridden by a very good jockey, BIG CITY BOY 6/1 is my original second top rated and a possible front runner and its five pound claiming jockey if worth his claim moves into top spot, my original top rated is Ms EBORACUM 6/4 who has a three pound claimer riding, so im thinking the top two should have the race between them but if they cut each others throats in the lead it could play into the third best rated hands, im hoping the prices allow me to back all three to show a profit whichever one wins.
