Class five affair with twelve participants and only two known pace setters neither are in my top three but Wotnot could be a bit of a hidden danger especially if it gets an uncontested lead and being a three year old could have improvement still to come, the same improvement, hidden danger ideas could apply to Harrison Stickle who is my third top rated but its not known as a front runner, second top is Caminel who can either be held up or track the leaders, my top rated is *VERUS DELICIA 14/1 who did its best time two runs ago at Leicester, it was left with too much to do last time out when staying on at the finish but the leaders had already flown and both of those runs were in this class of race and is the official joint top rated and it looks like it does prefer to carry a heavy weight against inferior horses, so should have a decent chance here and an each way price. *NR
6:30 Lingfield - Eight runners in a class six race but half of the field are known as possible leaders so could be a fast run race for the class, I've got Speed The Plough and Go Charlie down as possible dangers because they are both known to lead but I don't think this will be their day as there are other front runners and they may be better when they can dominate from the front, Captain Ryan is my third top rated and another of the possible leaders, MONSIEUR JAMIE 9/2 is my second top rated and not a front runners so could be the one to benefit if they go too fast in the lead and this horse may be better over further so the fast early pace could suit it and im fairly confident its capable of repeating its best time, I've got GOWER PRINCESS 10/1 in the top spot but its another possible leader and not completely sure if its capable of repeating its best time so im going with backing both to show a profit whichever horse does the business and as long as all eight run its worth doing an each way bet. [No bet - Soft Ground]
8:10 Hamilton - Not a great race but it could be good for me if the going is good or firmer, there are nine runners but only three of them have done a time good enough to register on my graphs then there are three possible front runners and my top two ratings are possible front runners, in third spot I've got Salvatore Fury who did its best time in 2014 at Ayr which is nothing like this course, second top is Spend A Penny who recorded its fastest time this year at Thirsk and im fairly confident it is capable of repeating its best but top rated by quite a few spots is TYFOS 3/1 who also recorded its best time this year and it showed a hint of a return to form when second last time out and I always like it when my top rated is high in the handicap as it shows the selection is running against lesser opponents and if running to their best should be too good for the opposition.
