2:10 Bath Racing Tips (12th Sept) FESTIVAL RACING APPRENTICE HANDICAP (CLASS 6) (3yo+ 0-60)

A fourteen runner apprentices race, so straight away im going with low stakes if any, I look at these races and if my top rated isn't being ridden by a proven apprentice I leave the race alone, Named Asset and Salvado are the two I've got marked as the most likely pace makers but they are not in my top three, third top is Babyfact who may be better over even further, second top is Consistant from a time recorded at Leicester, top spot goes to TOP COP 10/1 who usually likes to sit just behind the leaders and a repeat of its best time from Salisbury would see it home comfortably but consistency is rare in class six races, so tread carefully.

3:35 Lingfield - A tricky little race with eight runners and there's nothing much between the top five, MUSICORA 5/1 is my fifth top rated but is being ridden by a seven pound claiming apprentice which moves it to the top spot and its a possible front runner, Lady Horatia is third top and is very versatile with its running style,Stellarta is second top and usually tracks the leaders, my original top spot was REFUSE COLETTE 9/1 another possible front runner, so as long as they don't go too fast in front it should be won by a leading or at least very prominent runner and I'll be having a small bet on both looking for a profit.

4:15 Musselburgh - A poor class six race with twelve runners and only two have them have done a time good enough to register on my figures, Pavers Star would lead if nothing else wanted to but there's four other more natural pace setters, Oil Strike, Chookie's Lass and Jumbo Steps but of these three are in the top two but Fine N Dandy is second top and a front runner so will probably set the mark here but PERFECT WORDS 8/1 comes out well clear on a time it recorded at Catterick in 2014, today's conditions should suit this one and hopefully will stay on strongly at the finish for the win.

4:35 Chester - A nice class four race with twelve runners and half of them have been known to lead before, Hoofalong is fourth top and a versatile type of horse with its running style, joint third top is I'll Be Good and Apricot Sky who is moved up to second top when you take the five pound the apprentice claims off the weight, while second top is Mossgo a possible front runner as is my top rated TYFOS 7/1 who has been second on both of its last two runs and is weighted to reverse placing with Apricot Sky who beat it last time out and could lead all the way to the line this time.

Top Cop 10/1 3rd
Musicora 5/1 6th
Refuse Colette 9/1 7th
Perfect Words 8/1 5th
Tyfos 7/1 - No bet - Soft ground
